President Trump's Costly Temper Tantrum The Islamic Republic of Iran is a stable nation which has had a peaceful transition of power since 1979. It has been led and represented by only two leaders in the forty-six years of its existence. There is a line of succession. And that position of leadership has been filled again. There was no imminent nuclear threat. Unable to coerce Iran into negotiations on his terms (isn't that what it always is?) the POTUS threw a massive temper tantrum. He would teach them a lesson! Put the hurt on them! Who is crying now? The first blunder was imagining it a great idea to begin a bombing campaign in daylight hours when schools are in session. The second, was to ignore the algorithm for a blast radius meant to hit a nearby Naval installation and not include a primary school in the estimation. One hundred and sixty five little girls, most between the age of 5-7 years lost their lives. I wil...

Trending Images of Iran's New Leader Our war - run by intellectual midgets. Don't even bother to ask me what I believe is in store for us on sovereign U.S. soil. This was the dumbest, damn idea. Ever. I remain an oath-keeping patriot. What this means to me, is that it is important to speak the truth about this cluster fuck.

Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani The Grand Ayatollah has not been seen in public for quite some time now. He receives very few visitors and his work is accomplished "by direction" with his deputies in charge. But a statement has been released which speaks of the community obligation to support the Islamic (Republic) State. I could say quite a bit more about what is currently happening in the Middle East, but it seems an inappropriate moment in time. And should I write - it will be to educate regarding the terrain of the mind. I have stated, we will not be able to move the needle by attacking Iran. But now, my needle is threaded with sadness. It seems appropriate to limit my time on line a bit more; a time for reflection.

Assessment of Damage: Pasteur Institute of Iran Reading the news below coming off a Telegram Channel. The damage to the Pasteur Institute would have occurred during the bombing campaign against the Pasteur District which is a highly secure sector where the Grand Ayatollah had his residence. This district also houses critical government institutions. "Some buildings and units of the Pasteur Institute of Iran were damaged and destroyed; However, the planned arrangements have caused the main activities of this scientific and national complex to continue. Unfortunately, in these attacks, buildings of the Pasteur Institute of Iran were completely destroyed and damage to the devices and equipment in the departments and laboratories has caused problems for the operation of this valuable historical and national complex. According to the announcement of the Pasteur Institute of Iran, the damaged complex in a space of 24 thousand square meters includes 13 national reference laboratori...

Cloverfield The film "Cloverfield" was a horror/monster film which depicted all of the action on ground level and with a first-person perspective. What I find interesting is that Iranian Telegram channels and X feeds are providing a "Cloverfield" experience regarding the damage they have inflicted on our billion dollar radars and assets housed within the Gulf States; their strikes on commercial districts across the region. That hotel room on fire? Did the fire travel down the corridor to additional rooms? Of course - the AI is annoying. And it is becoming less believable every day as my skill-set slowly improves. Our nation is sticking to the less graphic aerial views of things. Perspective counts. But intelligence estimates also count. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15623787/donald-trump-iran-middle-east.html On the ground (blog) level let me merely state again: I was against this course of action. We will not move t...

The Giverny Experience A master of impressionism, Claude Monet moved into his home in Giverny, France at forty-three years of age. He called it home for the next forty-three years of his life. As he aged, his focus turned to painting the scenes which he enjoyed from day to day in his wonderful garden. The Giverny experience undoubtedly provided him with moments of happiness and peace during his declining years. https://giverny.org/monet/home/ But for many aging Americans, there is no Giverny experience. We speak of the "Greatest Generation". There is an unwillingness to discuss the "Forgotten Generation". In 2024, 67.1% of Americans older than sixty-five were still in full-time employment. And suck in your breath. The labor force participation for those aged 75 years and older has increased significantly, and the number of workers aged 80 and above has grown 24 % since early 2022 - far outpacing overall employment growth. Roug...
