China Power Projection The video quality is good which is attached to the narrative below.  Let me just post the text. "China released footage of exercises by its navy and air force in which they engage a Dutch frigate near the Paracel Islands. This move by China and the release of the footage is a deliberate signal. China is showing every NATO naval patrol and U.S. ally in the Indo-Pacific what capabilities it possesses. The Southern Theater Command of the Chinese military stated that the Dutch frigate HNLMS De Ruyter entered sovereign waters around the Xisha/Paracel Islands and repeatedly sent the frigate's helicopter into disputed airspace. In response, the People's Liberation Army also dispatched several destroyers and J-16 fighters to the area and warned that it conducted operations to drive away the frigate through electronic interference actions in electronic warfare. In fact, we are witnessing a serious shift from China, as this country tests the West's res...
Treating Those Who are Not Homeless with Compassion Years ago, my husband simply stated, "Compassion kills", when we were discussing unaddressed and improperly managed homelessness in our city. Yes. Compassion killed a woman in Atlanta.  She perished in a knife attack. Unprovoked, but provoked within the crazed mind of an individual who should never have been allowed to board the train; much less occupy the streets. It is a fact that a segment of the homeless are not only addicts and drunks ("alcoholic" is the polite term), but they are also mentally ill. They have track marks on their arms,  pale soft palates with teeth as soft as cantaloupe ("Meth mouth") and additional signs of addiction. It can be chicken-egg, but  compassion kills. https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-15862039/atlanta-georgia-woman-stabbed-train-attack-police.html There is a differentiation of course: the homeless who have lost employment, are functionally illiterate and who will ne...

Checkmate On 28 February the IRGC began to issue VHF radio warnings to  ships attempting to travel through the Strait of Hormuz.  EU and UK maritime agencies confirmed these transmissions shortly after our first strike.  Iran used escalation policies and military aggression which brought maritime traffic to a standstill. On 4 March, the IRGC made it official:  The strait was closed to all seafaring vessels. Iran pulled the Fool's Mate on us in one move - an impossibility, of course. But because our administration was limited by their imagination, unfamiliar with the terrain of the mind - in less than 24 hours, Tehran showed herself to be a Grand Chess Master. Earlier, I wrote about a stalemate.  But in fact, it was a checkmate within 24 hours of our bombing campaign.  Because what really blew up in our own faces, was the surgical strike against  the Grand Ayatollah.  In a million years, I would have never advised that course of action. And when on...
Short Analysis This is not my work.  But I will be posting something later tonight.  Tammy   For a long time, I have been emphasizing that the U.S. military has been amassing forces in the UAE region south of the Strait of Hormuz and right south of Oman as well. Now, it is said that they are trying to move toward Oman itself and gain direct control over the coastal areas at the intersection of the UAE and Oman, so as to control the Strait of Hormuz from land, just like Iran does. The troop buildup in this region has expanded, and reconnaissance activities and force concentrations for attacking the Strait of Hormuz, the islands, and the coasts of Iran continue unabated. Unfortunately, the politicians' prevention of declaring military conflict and the necessity for the military to respond in Iran allowed the U.S. to seize this golden opportunity of the ceasefire to take control of Iran's power tools in the Strait of Hormuz. Now, inside the country, we see that the self-sold...

If Only They Could Spell.... I am really following this news, and will update the story should I come across anything.  https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-15860791/americans-injured-ballistic-missile-strike-kuwait.html But these guys will not win the Spelling Bee.  And to inform properly - we will do just fine. Iran Offers the Middle Finger There are (unverified) reports that Iran has activated their air defense systems on Qeshm Island.  And as of four hours ago, Iran's Ministry of Foreign of Affairs announced control of the Strait of Hormuz between Iran and Oman is non-negotiable.  Scott Bessent is certainly being ignored when informing that one billion dollars in Iran's cryptocurrencies have been seized.  I guess "We" have not figured out that everything is not reduced to money.  We certainly do not understand the terrain of the mind of the House of Ali.  Tehran seems fully aware (it does not take a genius....) that their biggest challenge is the political management of war because our daily churn of statements is intended to benefit world crude oil markets. Crude oil just dropped below $87 dollars per barrel. Sadly, the Gulf States have also come to the realization that their reliance on U.S. and Israeli intelligence have often left them with an exaggerated claim of...
Nithya Raman: Wealthy Hypocrite and Out of Touch "So I woke up this morning to a sound of commotion outside my window and I looked out the window, and I realized that there were people setting up what was, I think a fake encampment, like a homeless encampment outside of my house... I have two little kids. They didn't see it, luckily, this morning... But you know, I feel bad that I'm even subjecting them to that at all." Yowsa!  Nithya Raman thought her wealthy enclave would be protected from the misery which the Democratic Party peddles to the rest of us.   That being said, I did not realize that she was of the Christian faith!   I applaud her!   She is a "it will not come nigh thee" Christian!  Golf clap, please! "A thousand will fall at thy side and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it will not come nigh thee." Psalm 91:7  (KJV) If reading the prior verse - because scripture must be read in context - we can close the loop. "Nor for the pe...

关于加强军队高级干部教育管理监督的若干措施 China's Central Military Commission just tightened up the education, supervision and management of senior military leaders. The "Measures to Strengthen the Education, Management, and Supervision of Senior Leaders" was issued yesterday. It is made up of seven sections and twenty-six points. I would love to see the actual document.
Adam Hamawy:  Love or Desire? Adam Hamawy.  There really should be no place for him to represent the interests of our Republic.  The acoustics are bad regarding the story.  And the tiny tremors of this news reveal a different man than the one who presents to the voters.  https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-15853177/AOC-backed-Dem-frontrunner-worked-Al-Qaeda-defended-World-Trade-Center-bomb-mastermind.html Love or desire?  Does he love America?  Or does he desire it  become an Islamic Caliphate - you know that unworkable form of governance which is pock-marked with a lack of critical elements for societal health and homeostasis?  I believe he has desire.  And while love is about emotion, desire travels along lanes of control.  Islam - really is about totalitarian and autocratic control which rages against human liberty. Frightening enough: Adam Hamawy worked for an Al Qaeda front.  He knew.  He knew what he was involved ...
The Desired Outcome in Bangladesh It was my sincere hope that "Donald Trump" would be spared a ritual slaughter in Bangladesh: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/may/28/blond-bangladeshi-buffalo-nicknamed-donald-trump-saved-from-eid-sacrifice Perhaps, as a journalist I was part of the greater conversation.  These were my thoughts on 23 May. https://www.blogger.com/blog/post/edit/4752285260212949699/7937808253046147433 It is a good morning! For German Readers Substantial readership coming in from Germany in the last twenty-four hours.  So for that crowd: https://www.br.de/nachrichten/deutschland-welt/deutsche-dschihadisten-teil-syrischer-streitkraefte,VJZWBG3 And for the rest of us, the translation.  Syria remains a cluster f-ck.  And al-Julani is still a monster. Investigative Report by @BR24 : German Jihadists Part of Syrian Forces Al-Shara was for years part of jihadist militias and has close ties to structures affiliated with Al-Qaeda. Although he later publicly distanced himself from Al-Qaeda and now presents a clearly more moderate image, parts of his power apparatus still come from exactly those circles. As a result, jihadists are present within the ranks of Syria’s transitional government forces. According to information from Deutschlandfunk, rbb, and BR, some of these jihadists previously lived in Germany. These individuals are embedded within the transitional government forces. German security ci...
As a Taxpayer, I am "Fond" of  No. 6   Mr. Zohourian, the representative of Mashhad in the parliament, has set the conditions for negotiations. Summary of the current axes of the Iran-US memorandum of understanding (not finalized): 1. Declaration of the end of the war, including in Lebanon, and refraining from the use of force against each other. 2. Respect for each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity. 3. Conditioning the final agreement on a 60-day period, extendable by mutual agreement of the parties. 4. Lifting the naval blockade within 30 days and the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iran's surrounding environment (surrounding environment undefined). 5. Opening of the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days by Iran 6. Promise of a $300 billion reconstruction program for Iran in the event of signing the final agreement 7. Termination of primary and secondary sanctions on a timeline in the event of a final agreement 8. Iran's non-development of nuclear w...
Islam and Predatory Behavior Against Western Civilization Your child cannot receive an aspirin from the school nurse without your permission.  They can attend events outside the campus with guardian signature.  How many parents knew their children were embarking on a trip to proselytize them? Islam is government.   It advances with para-parliamentary rules which erase our Constitution. https://ibloga.blogspot.com/2026/05/the-boy-who-didnt-kneel-is-more.html Do you know the story of the white ants?  Shame on you - if not familiar with it. As a Christian I have never forced a minor (nor an adult) into an observance of my Christian faith. And regarding the imam in the image, he is a true believer. He can grasp his beard with his fist. That is the required length. His clothing is as mandated regarding laws of purity.  And his beard it black. But as he ages, he can dye his beard black if involved in Jihad.  (Why do you think hair dye was found when Osama bi...

Evening Images " Interesting images of Iran's Majid air defense systems, AD-08 "Majid" model, which are parked in Yerevan, Armenia It seems that these systems are set to be displayed in the Republic Day parade, which will take place on Thursday. This parade will likely serve as the official introduction of these systems to the Armenian army's air defense environment, making this country the first official foreign customer for this air defense system."
Incarceration and State-Mandated Family Abandonment   In seeking to be an "ordered society" have we created a malignant disorder by knocking the props out from under aging Americans?   What about the children?   And let's ask the rhetorical questions.  Do laws which reinforce desperation instead of offering redemption crush the human spirit?  And does a penal system which inflicts excessive incarceration and probationary periods serve the greater needs of society or the rapacious financial needs of a system which is dependent on constant flow into and out of its facilities?   If the crimes are non-violent and of a self-inflicted nature is mercy the greater master? And does ruthlessness ever really teach a lesson? Our prisons are systems.  They are not institutions.  Institutions are for societal health and homeostasis.  Systems are about controlling and/or maintaining a chaotic set of conditions beneficial to its custodians. Good News,  Bad News Our "Breaking News" is that CentCom has taken out of commission two IRGC boats which were dropping  mines. https://nypost.com/2026/05/25/world-news/us-launches-self-defense-strikes-in-southern-iran-centcom-says/ The "Breaking News" from the bad guys is that they have destroyed three MQ-9 Reaper drones today. This is being reported on multiple sites.  If true - the Iranian air defenses and ability to respond to threat seem to be in good working order.  I am not viewing wreckage, but the sites I look at tend to be fairly reliable.
Read Everything, Research Everything This news saddened me.  I have always admired Nicholas Kristoff for his passion.   https://freebeacon.com/media/new-blow-to-new-york-times-gaza-rape-report-key-source-gets-caught-quietly-removing-terrorists-names-from-list-of-slain-palestinian-journalists/ That being said: Read everything and research everything to the best of your ability. This reminder is also for me.   If I peddle disinformation or misinformation (which is a cross-pollinating process and not necessarily done with deliberation)  let me know.  I will set the record straight. I will apologize. As for my journalism - the biggest stories never make the page.  They involve confidentiality.  And if it involves national security - I will enter chain of command to report the narrative. That is understood at the beginning point of any dialogue.  If it involves a man seated across from me offering granular details of the successful assassinat...

"Leaks" President Trump upset a well-understood tension; a balancing act - when attacking Tehran.   Iran, in turn, put the hurt on the Sunni side of the house and we were unable to protect our Gulf allies. Years ago I wrote a brief "Rise as One Man: Islam in the 21st Century".  (2007?)  The phrase "Rise as One Man" is from the covenant of Madinah.  I was mocked for my predictive analysis.  But essentially, if the Sunni side of the house and the Shi'a side were smart enough to lay down their differences - there would be Hell to pay for the rest of us. Who is laughing now?   When you manage to piss off everyone in the region - you end up with a movement away from   Assabiyya.  This concept was discussed in the Farewell Sermon of Prophet Muhammad. So I am looking a "leaks" tonight. Now even if what is copied below is just happy clap, I tend to take it seriously.  We are damn well going to be marginalized in the Middle East.  ...
After Opis President Trump desperately seeks an Opis banquet of reconciliation. The Gulf States will be seated around him within the inner circle, as opposed to the Macedonians. They were brought to heel in his first term with the Abraham Accords. This normalization was absolutely necessary.  But the Iranians will still congregate within the outer ring of the banquet hall this time.   And actually, that is where they will stay.  There will be no forward movement. And there is no damn way Tehran will offer up her treasures to America. As to whether during the original banquet Alexander the Great lifted his voice to god and laid claim to being descended from Zeus is open for discussion. https://www.pothos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3214?t=3214 But having stylized the first half of his current term in office as Alexander the Great, President Trump now presents as a mediator in the world,  and both  a fatherly figure and Antipater.   I do not consider ...
Nasire Best A paranoid schizophrenic left with reliance on his imagination for survival.  And another reckless action spurred by mental illness.  https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-15844059/White-House-shooting-suspect-Nasir-Best.html Nasire Best thought he was Jesus Christ.  This is classic delusion with religious overtones.  As a nursing student, I did a clinical rotation on the locked unit at Parkland Memorial Hospital.  The nurses station had bulletproof glass. Our guests really were quite dangerous.   I came across a client who told me, "You can call me 'God' or you can call me 'pickle'."   The latter was more appropriate; albeit we could not get the right pickling combination to control his delusions and racing thoughts.  Later, working in a locked psychiatric unit, I care for the Virgin Mary. sigh I provided nursing support for a Goddess who called herself "Fire Starter".  She would start imaginary fires and  stamp t...
