Imagination counts. And logic without imagination and an intuitive component provide for a handcuffed product in journalism.   Narratives create a pseudo nobility with can betray reality on the ground and cushion readership within comfy pillows of thought.

For decades, we have been carried along with narratives of immigrants who came to the Western hemisphere with bold frames placed around the most famous of the success stories.  We also have the smaller frames of what I call "the wretched of the earth" -  the destitute indigents who merely want a decent shot at filling their bellies, raising their children without the sounds of gunfire on the streets (Sudan), and willingness to endure great hardship to better the lives of their generations. These are the stories of the 19th and early 20th century.   These are not the heartwarming stories for the 21st century.  The dynamics are different, our politicians are thieves, and the view is much dimmer.

One of my favorite Bible verses is, "All creation testifies...."  My husband is an avid gardener, sending  soil samples to Texas A & M, constantly reading books on gardening, and allowing me to see in real life that not only does creation testify, but it also teaches.  Looking out on the garden, Turkish figs are once again budding out, the persimmons are changing to a nice golden-orange, and the grapevines are flourishing.  Trellises are there for the next crop of cucumbers and I just replenished a vase with fresh cut zinnias.  Such a riot of color!  Just imagine what God hath wrought - from the diligent hands of my husband! This is our land.  My husband tilled it.  It belongs to us!

Now let's take that imagination and look at something in nature which is very interesting, because it is actually a metaphor for both sides of the equation! I have chosen a simple and elegant link, but do a bit of research on your own.

It has only been two weeks since a stable chrysalis known as Ceuta, Spain - dissolved into one massive goop.  A municipality of 84,000 souls, tightly packed into one of the most densely populated areas of Spain suddenly found itself attacked by imaginal cells... a massive cluster and clumping of illegal migrants who dotted their beach and hillsides.  They were already on the same frequency, passing information back and forth, and they created a dangerous tipping point for the chyrsalis - a chrysalis of humanity dependent on stability to survive. 

The population of Ceuta swelled to about 150,000 people.  Were we to do the simple math, if each family took an equal number under their own roof, a family of four would now be responsible for a family of eight.  But Europe's sleight of hand, with human trafficking and dispersion, caught up with them.

Ceuta should be a rallying cry.

When the story of Ceuta began to break, I did not see the individual faces.  The numbers were absolutely staggering.  I saw one large multi-cell organism. This "thing" had grown legs and wings overnight.  But it was no thing of beauty.  It was not a butterfly. It was goop. This is politic dynamic which is aided by the rampant political malpractice which has overwhelmed Europe.  Sleight of hand had kept the problem hidden, but now it was in plain view. The geography did not allow for quiet human trafficking across the landscape and the normal dispersion pathways which provide cover for such activities.

Americans suffered the same, under Joe Biden.  The absolute criminal activity which was pursued by  DHS to provide falsified paperwork for individuals is something which must still be addressed by the courts.  Not only were thousands of illegals given non-existent addresses, some addresses tracked back to storage facilities... restaurants... a bus stop.  This only scrapes the surface of the criminal actions under Mr. Biden. In one case, a handful of addresses were used again and again to vet thousands of applicants.

But Europe?  They have sold the farm... the livestock... practically every damn thing that is not nailed down. Powerful people and entities are being enriched by their policies. Their own people, are reduced to dogs.   Their policies not only reflect taxation without representation, but taxation for the benefit of non-citizen aliens.  What happened in Ceuta is not random.  It is just the latest betrayal which European leaders have heaped on their own citizens.

You are not responsible for the world.  It is a false narrative. You are not responsible for the small boat which crosses the English Channel.  Their nation of birth, is responsible for their well-being.

Flip the imaginal cell. Where is the pre-staged platform which rapidly deploys to protect sovereign borders from invasion?  The powerful "We" generally know it is coming.  Whether it be satellite imagery, or a simple set of binoculars which takes note of the latest crammed small boat coming across the English Channel, or embarking to Greece, etc.  They know. The platforms of protection are not there, because to put it very simply, they do not give a damn.  

Europeans have taxation with misrepresentation.  Your leaders do not care that these "imaginal cells" are "agents of change" which initially work against the immune system, that thing called national health.  This is the change of chaos; the change of instability; the change of greater poverty for the citizen.

Europeans must emerge from their cocoons as the moths they are meant to be, not the beautiful butterflies which have been crushed under foot because of malpractice.  Develop an appetite for your politicians. And take that appetite from the municipalities, to the parliamentary bodies, to the very heads of your states to demand change. Cannibalize their ambitions. And them kick them out of office.

Do it legally.  But let there be sufficient passion.  Have allowable  anger that moves politicians to work on your behalf. Move from self-pity for yourselves, to pitilessness against those who have betrayed you. It is time for you, as citizens, to prevail.

America? We have a POTUS who works for us! We are becoming more healthy as a nation for his enforcement policies.

Europe has failed their people.  May the moths prevail.
