Ian Andre Roberts: Because Truth Counts
Isn't it time to push back against the narrative that illegal aliens are "picking our crops... taking the low wage jobs..." and don't we all feel like guilty-as-hell racists for questioning the common wisdumb?

It does not matter that Ian Andre Roberts has assimilated. Neither does it matter that he has contributed to our nation. Nor does it matter that he pays taxes.
It matters that he lies. It matters that he states he was born to immigrant parents and spent most of his formative years in Brooklyn, New York. He lies. And with his lies, he has denied Americans with professional credentials, a shot at the future.
Where are his parents now? Did they follow him here after he received his education? Or are they still in Guyana? What we do know is that "formative years" are ages birth to about eight years. He came here at nineteen years of age. Those who create a legend generally consider time and distance to be in their favor with regard to illegal habitation in our nation. President Trump is destroying the myth.
It should matter that an individual minus a legal authorization to work in the United States; a man with a weapons charge; escaped a basic eVerify for his employment over the many years in which he engaged fraudulent activities. And it should matter, because Ian Roberts is not an anomaly. But he is a tragedy for those who competed with him for employment.
"The Des Moines Public School Board voted unanimously to appoint Dr. Ian Roberts as the Des Moines Public Schools’ new superintendent, effective July 1, 2023. Dr. Roberts was chosen through a comprehensive national search based on the leadership profile prepared by the Board after receiving input from staff, parents, students and community members. Dr. Roberts will succeed Interim Superintendent Matt Smith to lead the state’s largest school district comprised of 31,000 students across 64 school buildings."

Prior to his position in Des Moines, Dr. Ian Andre Roberts was superintendent of schools for Millcreek Township, Pennsylvania.
Within our larger school districts the process for choosing a new superintendent involve rigorous and time-honored business practices. A national search produces a strong pool of contenders. The pool is narrowed for the top-tier candidates. Each one is then individually interviewed and vetted.
I am unable to find information regarding the average number of candidates who make it to the final interview process. But a recent example is Clark County, Nevada - whose board made their final decision and chose between three finalists. A rule of thumb is a starting point of 100 candidates, winnowing down to thirty, and then three finalists.
Every single step of the process, the employers did not follow standard rules of engagement to verify work status. Every single finalist for Superintendent of Millcreek Township ISD and Des Moines ISD should sue for the combined $270,00 base salary, and $305,000 salary which was earned by Ian Roberts during his years of employment. He robbed qualified Americans regarding not only income, but their aspirations to achieve the American dream.
Truth counts.
