Of Human Satisfaction
What was felt by the individual as the target was acquired and pressure placed on the trigger with intent to commit a homicide? I do not think it was rage. I believe it was human satisfaction.
This is the same emotion which has been expressed by too many Americans who experienced the same sense of satisfaction after viewing the death of an innocent husband, father, and son. Charlie Kirk is dead. And the twisted wire in the blood of the ruthless is exposed.
A Baylor University student teacher posted, "This made me giggle." She then defended her position by stating, "Good thing I am not a Christian."

Tammy Swofford is a Christian. It is what defines me. The life and example of Jesus Christ inspire my actions. And it is the parables and stories within the Bible which guide my path.
As a registered nurse I have been present for the death of a few of my patients. There is no such thing as a "slow code". There is only professionalism and proficiency; honed critical care skills and compassion. All on the team work hard and fast to save that life. And when the code is "called" we know we have done our best but we have entered the domain of God. He has decided the issue for us.
But what about the death of an enemy? As a prior Lieutenant Commander in the United States Naval Reserves, and member of combat Fleet Hospital Dallas, Det E, a determination had to be made regarding personal conviction. Should I be charged with the care of a wounded enemy combatant in the field of operation, would they would receive the same care offered to any member of our own military? The answer was wholeheartedly, "Yes!" And if they died under my care? I would not rejoice in their death.
God commended King Solomon for the same thing in II Chronicles 1:11 (NIV)
"Since....you have not asked for wealth, possessions or honor, nor for the death of your enemies...."
Nor for the death of your enemies....
And since when - is freedom of expression an enemy of "We the People"?
I am not quite sure how a sane person can "giggle" when confronted with Charlie Kirk's final moment of life - because the instant the blood gushed out of his neck the command center known as his brain also ceased to exist. Apparently, the insane work, walk, and dine among us. We are gradually becoming aware of them. And they are not truly Americans. They belong in a galaxy... far, far away.
Human satisfaction should be felt within the embrace of our own life's most beautiful moments. I am sure Charlie Kirk felt the same when he courted and married his wife, held his daughter and son for the first time, and when he presented his children to the grandparents. These are moments to be cherished. I could sense human satisfaction as he took questions from the crowd at the UVA campus. He had found his purpose and his stride; a sense of pride from his work with college students. It ended with just the right application of force on a trigger.
Satisfaction!
