The DNI Obliterates a Polymer and a Cellular Group in One Blow

It is a bit of shock and awe coming from DNI Tulsi Gabbard:

This report and the working group which produce it are effectively obliterated.

I am reticent to invest time in reading a 156 page document.  But my prior reading experience affirms that what can start out as crisp empirical data can quickly shipwreck upon the shoals of political expediency, vanity projects and Frankenscience.

When the U.N. embarked on issuing their Arab Human Development Reports, the initial product was informative and seemed to follow standard guidelines for methodology and research.  Gradually, I could detect the faint fingerprint of political persuasions skirmishing within the pages. Eventually, I tossed aside any reading of the aforementioned because of the smudges of corruption which were now readily apparent.  Mad scientists were now cranking out the document.

And then - there is AFRICOM.

In 2020 I wrote what I call a "short note".   I am well-versed regarding  issues on the ground in Sudan.

Nobody is asking... but I was not impressed with this intelligence analysis:

Maybe - all of us can aspire to do better in the future regarding what we put out for human consumption. We pat ourselves on the back too much.  We lose focus regarding the gritty issues and present soft reports which mask the very nature of the threats which face America.

So for now - I will stick with the quick glance from this site.  Corruption does not only exist within the financial markets.  It also exists within the marketplace of ideas.
