How many jackasses does it take to run a nation?

Quite a few.

As a child, my father would admonish his six children, "Just because you think it doesn't mean you have to say it."  Five of the six took it to heart.  I was born without a filter.  That being duly noted, my father took ample time to hone analytical abilities and impart a bit of wisdom.  Who doesn't enjoy spending time with a father who has just read a 300 page book about Chinese history... or who didn't believe that any book in our library should be hidden from the eyes of a prying child? Self censorship as a taught skill, but no censorship in reading selections.  Some of my finest moments with my father were over a plate of street tacos in Oaxaca, Mexico. 

So how many jackasses are currently in positions of power in our nation?

The jackasses do belong in the bars and on the dance floors; at the football games and shooting off their AR-15 at the local gun range.  How to keep them from choosing a "lifetime of public service" is the tricky part.  I believe that most sociopaths have a chromosomal match for politics.  There is a propensity toward lies, and Paul Ingrassia's attorney just keeps spreading the manure around a bit more.

Paul Ingrassia is just the latest braying fool in Washington, D.C.  I am glad he was exposed for his big teeth and ugly hooves. Let him take his wild streak elsewhere.

Live Blogging:  Charlie Kirk Memorial Blackfoot is comfortably snoozing in a different time zone.  So I will go ahead and start the post.  Undoubtedly, when I return to the desktop, Blackfoot will have added a few thoughts and I will enter the arena again.
