Scott Semaya: Lord of the Flies
Shipwrecked on the small island of "ThisBitchNeedstoDie", the five prepubescent males set about establishing a social order. They sent up regular smoke signals to attract attention. But more importantly, they sought to guard themselves against a monster named Bellomo.
Entering a small dark cave, the boys would huddle together to share their findings. One lad stated the skin was cold - unlike any cold ever felt upon the island. Another stated that he had actually reached out to grab the teat of the female beast while she slept. With a small nod to what he remembered of English colloquialisms, he stated, "her nips could cut glass".
The boys were maturing... learning... and the mystery of male hormones became their guide. Observations were no longer enough. They began to actively stalk this legendary beast. But the beast which was legendary was the beast which did not really exist. The threat only existed within their childish minds.
Welcome to "Lord of the Flies" - 2025.

Epilogue-as-Prologue:
Several years ago, my brother was leaving his truck with his wife to enter a local grocery outlet. An older teen passed his wife and delivered a severe verbal insult. He was left with a bloody nose, and a reminder that a fool's mouth invites a beating. I believe my brother taught him a valuable lesson. A lesson, which only a real man can deliver.
When a man insults a woman the insult extends to her husband, if she is married. It extends to her sons, if she is lucky enough to have them. And the insult should certainly concern her father.
Do not deliver sexual insults against a woman, nor attack anything related to her femininity. Be respectful. Should you choose to insult a woman, please do it in the presence of mature men. They will remind you that you are no longer the Lord of the Flies.
