My vocabulary  - and perhaps the English language - lack sufficient words to describe the decision of the Oklahoma court with regard to Jesse Mack Butler.

This is not he-said-she-said teenage spat.  Jesse Mack Butler is a young adult male who profiles as a violent offender and has already established a signature.  He likes to rape and choke his dates into unconscious state.  He has done it twice. He will spend his lifetime repeating the behavior over and over again.  And he will refine his technique and kill one of his victims.

Let's revisit the counts: two counts of attempted rape, three counts of rape by instrumentation, one count of sexual battery, one count of forcible oral sodomy, two counts of domestic assault and battery by strangulation, and one count of assault and domestic battery.

What was used for instrumentation on his victims?  Is it glass, metal, made of wood? And is it a trophy now hidden in his closet?  This is a man with intense rage and hatred against women. And he is probably a man with a robust appetite for pornography.

The full force of Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt should be used to bring together a working group of legislators to craft a new suite of laws which prevent violent, sexual youth offenders from preying on girls.

Actually, this is a challenge for the First Lady Sarah Stitt.   She cares about adverse childhood experiences, she has given birth to three daughters of her own.  But the First Lady should take on this task because it was another woman (I refuse to call her a lady) who made it possible for Jesse Mack Butler to walk about in free manner.

Special Judge Susan Worthington made it possible for Jesse Mack Butler to walk about in free manner. She signed off on a document presented by the Office of Juvenile Affairs two days ago.  She had a choice. It was hers to make. She... picked up the pen. And in the same manner she placed her fingers around the pen, it is her fingers which will be around the neck of his next victim.
