Knives Out


"Cops said there was nothing to suggest the incident was a terror attack, and that the two men arrested were both British nationals." 

A British national does not mean an Englishman with Western traditions.  

It  is an "isolated event". 

Yes.  "Isolated" in that passengers were trapped in a train carriage with two men with long blades.  

"A 32-year-old man, a black British national, and a 35-year-old man, a British national of Caribbean descent, were both arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Both were born in the UK. They remain in police custody this morning for questioning.

"Born in the UK.  But were they born into the house of Islam? Were they converts? Which mosque did they attend? And what are their names and do they have a kunya? Why no release of names?   

"We declared a major incident yesterday and Counter Terrorism Policing were initially supporting our investigation however at this stage there is nothing to suggest this is a terrorist incident. This is a British Transport Police investigation. We continue work to establish the full circumstances and motivation for this incident. Terror events are now only the stories which are too big to bury under a steaming pile of "caca". The victims will be hastily required to sign the National Secrets Act for reasons of "national security".  They will not be giving interviews.

Any attack which targets a demographic in a specific locale with intent to harm, maim or kill is  a terror attack. This was an attempt at bloodlust spree killing.  And it was planned and executed by two individuals. These British-born men did not adhere to modern English traditions of civility... unless of course, it is drunk footballers spilling out of the pubs after Manchester United loses a match. But those men deserve to be beaten by the other. They have brought it on themselves.

"Kill me, kill me!"

No martyrdom for you, pal.

An embargo still exists on releasing the name or particulars of the suspect.  And we are asked not to "speculate".   The journalist asks, "Who?"  Who, indeed?  This is the most important piece of information which is missing.  Toss in "Why?"  Who did this and  "why" did it happen?

Knife crime in England and Wales has risen 87% over the past decade, with 54,587 offences last year alone, a 2% rise from 2023 and among the highest rates in Europe, according to figures from Britain's interior ministry.

Interior Minister Shabana Mahmood said she was "deeply saddened", while urging people to avoid speculation about the incident.

What has changed in Europe in the last decade?  The question is rhetorical.  But at the end of the day, there is nothing that I hate more than an adult who lies to other adults.  Citizens of the United Kingdom deserve answers, and adults should not be infantilized in the deliberate manner in which the Interior Minister delivers her communication.
"Do it because I told you so!  Don't ask why!"
This is the domain of mothers with small children; not the arena of adult conversation.
The lack of responsiveness of the English government to the concerns of their citizens will bear fruit as a rising tide of nationalism which will no longer be contained, and it will increasingly spill out onto the streets.   And then -  the native born will be cast as the villains. And the victims will be cast as the criminals.
I have said it for a long time:
London has fallen.
Update with video:  The movements appear purposeful; unlike an individual under the influence of drugs or with mental instability.  There appears to be the intent noted in  an individual with sound mental faculties.  I have done "lock up" psychiatric nursing with violent patients.  Their violence is chaotic and rarely purposeful in nature.

Live Blogging:  Charlie Kirk Memorial Blackfoot is comfortably snoozing in a different time zone.  So I will go ahead and start the post.  Undoubtedly, when I return to the desktop, Blackfoot will have added a few thoughts and I will enter the arena again.
