I am not quite sure how Mr. Alfonso went from graduating with a degree in mathematics to landing a job as the producer of the Dan Bongino podcast. But then again, podcasts can be produced in a garage or a childhood bedroom. It is the man or woman behind the microphone who determines the market share. But I can make a great guess regarding his role as a producer; and I can connect the dots...dot... D.O.T.
Michael Alfonso is an average and decent American who found himself in the fortunate position to marry the daughter of a powerful Washington couple. He cannot be reduced to the role of a high school math teacher. It would be beneath him. Lacking the necessary dimensions which are observable in seasoned working professionals he seeks to skip the rungs on the ladder. More importantly, he lacks the earned wisdom of those who have toiled under strenuous accountability structures for which big business is well-known. And the work of government is the work of business. It is not the work of self-interest. There are no real life experiences which qualify him for stewardship of the interests of twenty counties hosting 754,000 individuals deserving of expert and efficient representation.
