Sudan's Imminent Collapse

You cannot negotiate from a position of weakness.  This news was released yesterday.

The Sudanese army is offering Trump a deal that involves accepting an Israeli embassy and an intelligence headquarters for Mossad, preventing the Russian military base, and replacing it with an American one.

The Sudanese army sent Foreign Minister Mohi El-Din Salem, who heads the delegation, along with the Chief of Military Intelligence, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ali Sabir, and Colonel Amr Abu Ubayda, to Washington to present the deal to the United States. The talks of the Sudanese army delegation in Washington center on specific quid pro quos that form the core of the "potential deal," which Khartoum seeks to conclude with the Trump administration. The army wants to trade the "Al Fashir card" for "Washington's designation of the Rapid Support Forces as a terrorist organization," in exchange for full and public normalization with Israel and allowing a Mossad security office in Khartoum. It also requested that Washington pressure the UAE to stop supporting the Rapid Support Forces. In return, the Sudanese delegation offers to halt the construction of a Russian naval base in the city of Port Sudan, secure the interests of the United States and its allies in the Red Sea, and keep the area open for an American military base or one for its allies. The Sudanese army delegation also proposed that Khartoum's foreign policy orientations align with American interests.
