The Resurrection of Jussie Smollett


A political action reminiscent of the incident with Jussie Smollet has emerged with even more bizarre features.  And whilst Mr. Smollett greeted the police with his rope still draped around his neck, GOP staffer Natalie Greene has taken comedy to new heights:

Having worked within locked psychiatric units - I can assure you that self-mutilating acts are rarely done with such symmetry and purpose.   And these things are generally companionable with a secondary action. Like vices, they travel in pairs.   If we discover one, it will have a fraternal twin; a bit more hidden from view, protected by the dominant.  But it will exist.

Psychiatric illness requires due diligence and the vigilance of  professionals who treat the client.  We once had a young man who disappeared from the unit and was located - not by sight - but by sound.  He was crawling around in the ventilation shafts of the facility.  We called the police and they managed to catch up with the hulking human rat.  Did I mention that he was naked? 

Intelligence does not always equate with an intelligent criminal in this day of forensic superiority. But the artistic rendering of slash marks were a bit too much for me.  Ms. Greene is mentally unhinged.  The doorway to her psyche has been kicked off the frame.  She is distinctly vulnerable.  If her brain is a piece of sheet music - it is fantasia.   And the capricious nature of her hoax is troubling.   I am grateful that she did not have a small child and involve them in her insanity.  And it is hoped she will receive priority for incarceration within a locked psychiatric unit which interfaces with the Department of Justice to provide care for the most troubled of our population.

Charlie Kirk Memorial: Live Blog: The Largest Church Service in Human History

Live Blogging:  Charlie Kirk Memorial Blackfoot is comfortably snoozing in a different time zone.  So I will go ahead and start the post.  Undoubtedly, when I return to the desktop, Blackfoot will have added a few thoughts and I will enter the arena again.
