II Chronicles 1:11-12

It is a time to mourn:

An American President  has lost his way:

Do we rejoice over the death of our enemies? Or are we circumspect regarding our own mortality?

Is an American deserving of a violent end because of their right to an opinion?

There is opinion; and there is truth.

Most of us merely voice our opinions.  This remains a Constitutional right.  And you have the right to be wrong, to be deceived, and to be affirmed in your own sense of worth. I am sure that Mr. Reiner was comfortable in his own skin. He was a brilliant man within the universe of the gifts which he offered to humanity with liberality of spirit.

Rob and Michelle Reiner had value and worth: for their children, friends, and greater community.

I mourn with the children of Rob and Michelle Reiner, and I mourn with their friends.   I will not add to their pain with callous remarks which have no place within the arena of acute pain and loss.

It is one thing when we shame others.  Quite another thing, when we heap shame upon ourselves.
