Immigration: High Velocity Impact
What they bring to America:
The clothes on their backs, and at times, a chronic disability leaving them unable to contribute to our economic base with concurrent financial burdens to our healthcare and social services systems.

What they take from America:
A home worth two million dollars and $9,000 dollar monthly shopping spree at Nordstroms.

I am not a monster. But we have created a monstrous Gordian knot. Let's do a bit of reflection.
My city is hosting a new "Joe V's Smart Shop". The business has been brisk since the Grand Opening a couple of weeks ago. During my last visit, the grocer had a large metal cage outside the exit with hideous-looking pillows priced at five dollars. A man and woman exited the store and the man casually tucked a pillow under his arm and smiled broadly at me. I smiled back and said, "You enjoy that, now!"
Could I have sprinted into the exit with my hair on fire and in hyperventilating manner shouted out to the security guard "You have a thief!" Sure. Uniformed security was a (mere) few feet from the scene of the crime. But then again, the sign should read "Free. Take one!" wink
But what if Joe V's has a warehouse with 200,000 ugly pillows? And what if all of their pillows suddenly disappear? Now you have a headline; you have a million dollar theft. But we are discussing six zeros and not nine. Minnesota has a nine zero cluster fuck.
The citizens of the United States have found their collective wallets stripped of one billion dollars by just one of our fifty states. The state of Minnesota - otherwise known as a Democrat crime mecca - is just the tip - yes, the tip - of the galactic levels of fraud committed by illegal immigrants.
Within the courts, the term theft contains modifiers which guide the members of the court and the jury regarding both charges and penalties. I find the Divine aspect of law more refreshing.
Thou shalt not kill... thou shalt not steal. So the man who tucked the pillow under his arm committed petty theft in the legal sense. The God who cares for His creation, merely calls it "theft". This man took that which did not belong to him. And even a small child can understand the admonition, "You are not a thief because you steal, you steal because you are a thief." It is an issue of character.
Across our nation, taxpayers are confronted with the Pepperoni Principle. If you are the taxpayer/butcher and each day your employee steals a slice of pepperoni will you be aware of the theft? What if he steals 200,000 slices of pepperoni each year? Now you have another headline.
Media does not want to headline this news. They do not want to appear mean... cruel... uncaring... pick your favorite crooked finger word. But if media really does their research and tackles the topic in consistent manner over weeks and months, public awareness shifts in healthy manner which demands accountability from our elected representatives. Political negligence exposes the massive theft of our blessing.
The pendulum has swung too far Left for too long. And now it just might swing too far Right, even for my own comfort. But the process is necessary if the pendulum is to adjust back to a correct political arc. Here is the truth. Ninety-percent of the globe has a gravitational pull to America. But in not dealing properly with this problem which is one of percentages and basic statistical analysis, our own dreams are knocked out of orbit.
Enter a social laboratory with me for one month. Purchase a small notebook. You get to be both researcher and lab rat.
Every morning, pick up one item from your home and place it in the trash. Start with something small - like a pillow. Gaining courage, graduate to tossing out your favorite copper cookware and that Ming Dynasty vase inherited from your great grandfather. At the end of the month, consider your loss-benefit ratio. Not feeling the pinch yet? Perhaps your paycheck is better than that of the average middle-class American. Maybe you are wealthy and have that wizard of an accountant who shows zero net income when The Iceman Cometh. (I love that film) The rest of us - struggle under rates of taxation which have become insupportable regarding our life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.
Maybe happiness is a case of Ramen Noodles?
I believe immigration should be legal. And I am one hundred percent against Refugee Resettlement within our borders. Distressed communities and their diaspora should receive care near the nation which they have fled. And we can assist with that task, but we should not take on the physical burden of the population. It is vastly unfair to our citizens. Monetary assistance to alleviate the suffering? Yes. Residing in America? No.
Cultural metastasis can be an issue. The refugee can arrive with the failed societal model with which they are familiar and continue to embrace the same. This embrace, is most easily seen with the propensity to segregate themselves within their own communities without effort to assimilate into our greater marketplace of ideas and understood American values.
We had Black Hawk Down in 1993. The broader context of this event was food theft and obstruction of aid by Somali warlords. And now we find that in 2025 Somali warlords in Minnesota have created another Battle of Mogadishu. Abdil Dahir Ibrahi, Salim Ahmed Said and Guhaad Said may have shown up on our shores with just a suitcase. But corruption travels along in the brain as the carry-on luggage. They represent in small part, the reason why we need high velocity immigration reform. Our nation's policies are destroying the American Dream for the citizens.
For too many decades our politicians have shown a bizarre willingness to deprive the children of the citizens a bright future in favor of children birthed on foreign soil. Of course, there is always money to be made from these programs; and fraud abounds. Arriving children receive free housing, medical, food, and education; the things which our grandparents, parents, and now my generation, toils to provide for our own. And we are providing less and less for our progeny, as the burgeoning burden of illegal immigrants slip their fingers into our wallets to take what has not been rightfully earned. Thievery disguised as virtue signaling. It just doesn't seem equitable, now does it?
But do make a trip to Joe V's today if you need a free pillow.
