Kingsley Wilson: Propaganda Haiku
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLYMr-WCuF0
The first time I heard Kingsley Wilson speak on an X feed supported by the Pentagon, her enunciation was so overwrought it sounded like she was speaking to a classroom of deaf individuals. Or maybe she was just trying to dislodge peanut butter from her hard palate.
I could not finish the press charade... errr, briefing, because the whole damn thing presented as a humiliation for the Pentagon. Ms. Wilson offers up sound bites, does not use correct military terminology, and has no in-depth understanding of military operational readiness. She offers up five words to cover the one word for which her vocabulary is deficient. Anyone who watches the link, will figure out which one word she either does not know or possibly cannot pronounce. Disgusting!
I sincerely hope that Saturday Night Live picks this up, because it is entirely too easy to mock without having to work anything up for the audience. The script is already there.
Ms. Wilson's performance is absolutely cringe-worthy. And the various circus monkeys in the "press pool" need to be beaten. Start with Matt Gaetz. He behaves like he has very low testosterone. I liked him more when he was the insufferable jackass.
The side show offered today by the Pentagon is a discredit to the collective intelligence contained within our quarterdecks across the globe. Perhaps Defense Secretary Robert McNamara's service model was used to pick Kingsley for this very important job. She certainly seems to have the I.Q. for it. The optics coming from the Pentagon are incredibly bad.
Ms. Wilson does provide the perfect example of propaganda Haiku. Which allows me to introduce a famous Haiku by Basho.

This is what press briefings should resemble. And yes, they should be managed by senior military officers and not an unseasoned female who acts like a runner up for prom queen.
