Three Americans Killed in Syria


I have looked at the X feeds of the Minister of Defense, Commander of the 76th Division of the Syrian Arab Army, Commander of the 86th Division of the Syrian Arab Army and also the feed of an artillery officer.

None - are reporting on the killing of two soldiers and one civilian interpreter, and injuries to three additional American soldiers.

Why would they? There was a concern about this service member and he was allowed to continue with his service.

On 8 December the Syrian military strutted their stuff.  Unfortunately,  their stuff includes members with strong ideological ties to terrorism.  And their "stuff" included a man who killed three and injured three more.






I believe it is a mistake for the U.S. to be involved - on the ground - in Syria.  Our blood and treasure should count for more.  The nation is unstable, led by known terrorists, and in spite of President Trump stating that the president is "legitimate" - the known facts of Al Julani's history expose the big lie.

We lost four members of our military in 2015.  I remember Senior Chief Shannon M. Kent.

Who gets to deliver the news?  Who explains to the families why their family members were sent to Syria - and how that decision has cost them their lives?  They kept the oath. But were their deaths worth the cost?  I doubt it.

Live Blogging:  Charlie Kirk Memorial Blackfoot is comfortably snoozing in a different time zone.  So I will go ahead and start the post.  Undoubtedly, when I return to the desktop, Blackfoot will have added a few thoughts and I will enter the arena again.
