Trump


If asked their willingness to abandon the family dog on the side of the road in exchange for judging a teen modeling contest, more than a few men would answer "Yes!".   Probably a few would also be willing to slash the tires on their wife's vehicle for the same privilege.  But when you are the man about town, and a wealthy billionaire - there is no need to abandon the family pet. Opportunities abound to make an ass of yourself.

Trust me.  Russian troll farms on X have complete videos of a younger Mr. Trump acting like a jerk around women, and definitely getting "handsy" with some willing participants.  They seemed not to mind. They wanted to be the next Mrs. Trump, and had "real estate" for sale.  In one video with Mr. Trump and his confident buddies, it looks like some of these guys never moved out of the college Fraternity House. And whilst not quite like the film "Animal House" -  from the looks on the men's faces, those women might as well have been on meat hooks. 

Most men tend to eventually settle down, marry, and if not inclined toward monogamy, seek out the discreet affair or the paid mistress.  Problematic for the wealthy, is what I call the boredom of the rich.  Having run out of things to buy, the only thing left to buy are experiences.  Mr. Trump has had ample opportunity to live in a world of generous experiences. These have been afforded to him because of his personal wealth.   And while none of his experiences may be illegal, a few give the appearance of distasteful and immature behavior from a man who wants to lend respect to the Office of the President of the United States.

But if we want to focus on immaturity it seems only fair to mention John F Kennedy's affair with Inga Arvad when he was working at ONI during a very sensitive time for our national security.  Include his lack  of maturity which allowed Nikita Khruschev to play him for the fool.  And don't forget his inability to effectively deal with Fidel Castro which then allowed an island tyrant three decades to stir up trouble in Africa,  destabilize Central America, and foment Communistic revolutionary fervor.

So while the few images of President Trump (with Epstein) paint a slightly tawdry picture of a middle-aged man with a healthy libido and gravitational pull toward beautiful women, these things seem less representative of the life which our POTUS has lived since he married Melania Trump. And his choices seem much less dangerous in nature - with regard to our Republic.

Unless there is a smoking gun - an image of our President cavorting with underage girls - I refuse to lose sleep over this issue.  But if our POTUS is to keep his campaign promise to "We the People", there should be a greater level of transparency so that this issue can find itself in the rear view mirror as opposed to the next headline.

Live Blogging:  Charlie Kirk Memorial Blackfoot is comfortably snoozing in a different time zone.  So I will go ahead and start the post.  Undoubtedly, when I return to the desktop, Blackfoot will have added a few thoughts and I will enter the arena again.
