Director Kash Patel: In Good Hands
We are in good hands. A fellow oath keeper remembers the oath. As a (former) serving member of the United States Naval Reserve, holding the rank of a Lieutenant Commander - I do not violate the oath. It is embedded on my lips; etched on my heart.
The oath is to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. The oath is not to the territorial boundaries of the United States. The oath is not to the President, nor taken on behalf of defense of members of Congress. In the truest sense, the oath is not even for "We the People" - this great Republic of people who call themselves Americans.
The oath is not taken in defense of our corporations. Nor for the defense of any berm, hill, valley, or patch of land known as Minneapolis. It is not taken to expel the illegal immigrant from our land.
The oath is to defend what can be best classified as a living, breathing, document. The bond of fidelity is to an ideal. And when we give our lives, it is so that liberty remains. Our blood, waters the tree of liberty. We give our lives, so that the Constitution prevails: eternal... a witness... a voice which calls to freedom.
What a mighty ideal exists within the Bill of Rights and our Constitutional bulwark of freedom!
What gives this document breath? What gives it pulse? What allows it to continue with a longevity which defies history? It is the breath, the pulse, of the People. True faith. Allegiance.
Today, Director Kash Patel is that breath and that pulse. Our nation remains in capable hands.
