When news emerged that Alex Pretti was turned into a sieve by federal immigration agents,the task at hand was to find cell phone footage with different angles. Initial reports that he was waving a gun were false. He had his cell phone in his hand. When he was first taken down, both of his hands were free and his hands resembled a crab scuttling along the sand at Puget Sound. Since he had been the recipient of a nice blast of dilute chemicals to his eyeballs, there was probably a primary need to wipe away the scorn. And then - the shots rang out. A bullet fired from a handgun travels 1,500 feet per second. What happened resembled close quarter combat. When the agent fired, his target was dead even as he felt the recoil of his weapon.

We are not witnessing Newton's Third Law of Motion on the streets of Minneapolis. We are witnessing chemical reactions. Dopamine is on the streets. And there is a lot of catecholamine response roaming the streets to target ICE agents. To put it more simply, there are parallel actions on the streets of Minneapolis: the agents who are working under chain of command to perform their duties and the agents of chaos who are stalking, hounding, and endangering the safety of the officers. The former must continue to work. And the latter? They need to trot their cordons of dopamine and catecholamine home and awaken - not to their last day, but to the first day of the rest of their lives.
It is a bipolar parallelism which is hunting on the streets of Minneapolis. The parallel actions of the agitation propagandists chasing down our oathkeepers is undoubtedly quite different should they dial 911 for an emergency. An individual in crisis never makes a request of their assailant, "Hey! Stop beating me for a second so I can record the arrival of the police to save me." That scenario is met with gratitude.
It is a Communistic "social credit score" type of musing, but if for every interference with ICE the consequence is that the individual finds their ability to dial 911 blocked for a week - my guess is the dopamine and the catecholamine cascade might be dialed down a bit.
Women are more easily deceived.
My father taught me not to be the fool. But he also taught me to use logic. "It was Eve that was deceived. Adam knew exactly what he was doing." Was this patriarchy? Yes. But it was healthy fatherhood. It seems that more women, rather than men, are on the streets of Minneapolis. Do they envision ICE as an emerging, oppressive patriarchy? Do they believe the arrest of a female Tren de Aragua member who is terrorizing girls awaiting movement into a sexual pipeline as a greater threat than the ICE agents? If so - they have become Eve.
I received this image last night from a female friend. I responded, "Horrible". But is she also "Eve"? What is the geo-location for the image... the time-stamp... and did Alex Petti bite an agent? It is a real image. But is it related to the second death in Minneapolis? I don't know. But I do not want to be deceived, do you? Images capture a nano-second of time... there is no before... no after... there is only frame without a canvas. Frame - paints the narrative.
ICE is hated because President Trump is hated.
President Trump is not Ramses IX reincarnated. I see him more as rising from the dynasty of Setnakht (1,200 BC) who began to reign during the visible erosion of Egypt's power. He sought to restore a measure of order from the chaos generated because of persistent political decline. The rise of Trump and MAGA is a confrontational political force which seeks to spring back from the rather desolate desert experience of Democrats in power. They steadily stripped the foliage of what makes America a great place to live.
We were quiescent and reticent during the eight years of President Obama. A box had been checked, a guilt ameliorated because we elected our first black American president. Criticism was muted for fear that concerns would be reduced to dog whistles of bigotry and racism against his detractors.
With Biden, we became rowdy. His mental incapacity terrified us and the Oval Office was reduced to insignificant stature because of no real proof of who was really in charge. But what Republican voters did not do - is more telling than that of which we have been accused. We did not harass and stalk law enforcement. We did not take our dopamine and catecholamine onto the streets. We stayed home... worked on building our constituency base... became proactive via legal and acceptable channels. We voted. Donald J Trump became the 47th President of the United States.
I am truly sorry that Alex Petti lost his life. He should have chosen to work an extra shift at the hospital. He would have extra income for clothing and a nice restaurant meal. Instead - he chose to stalk. In a week, he will be a historical footnote.
To be fair - I oppose total immunity for oath keepers who fall outside acceptable training guidelines. They are accountable not only to chain of command but to the taxpayers who provide for their sustenance. This looks more like a homicide than self-defense. Alex Petti should be alive today and back at his job. It is now up to the courts to decide this issue.
There will be others like Mr. Petti. It is so unnecessary. Because dopamine talks, catecholamine walks, neurotransmitters send out powerful signals and ordinary Americans cross over the line from faith to foolishness every single day.
