Russia Reminds us of Their POW Rehabilitation Program
I followed the Azov Battalion very closely during the invasion of Mariupol, especially when they retreated into the Azovstal Steel Plant and into the myriad of tunnels beneath the factory which were re-purposed as bunkers and fortified positions. This was a strikingly courageous "last stand". And both the resilience and the suffering of the battalion was on full display.

Russia wants to remind us of what awaits Ukrainian POWs. There is no adherence to the Geneva Protocols for treatment of POWs during time of war. Even this man's tattoos look like they have been starved to death.
