SCOTUS Decision

Worth reading.

The paragraph on the "major questions" doctrine stands out.  Bottom line. If Congress is not responsible regarding their duties, that duty does not then belong to the Executive Branch as a fall back position.

The power of the purse lies firmly within the hands of our Congressional body.  And the Constitution is written to keep the POTUS from rifling his fingers through the cash register till.  This is called separation of powers.

One of the problems with MAGA is that anything in the courts which addresses Presidential power and the constraints thereof can be viewed as a political attack on the POTUS - as opposed to a question of constitutionality.  We are dependent on our Supreme Court to be the final arbiter of legal questions.

They did their job.  And they do it well most of the time.
