Stolovsky

The Russian warship, Stolovsky, has anchored in Iranian waters  within what is known as Zone I of the Naval Forces affiliated with the Iranian Army along the coastline of the Sea of Oman.

I am watching the build up on our side of the house. In the last 24 hours approximately two hundred American cargo aircraft and refueling air ships have moved into the Middle East region.  E-3B Sentry early warning and control aircraft are also on the move.  F-15 E Strike Eagle assets have also left RAF Lakenheath  in England and are moving toward Jordan.

Iran, Russia and China are working under the framework of the "Maritime Security Belt 2026".

Added to post. AI shows this information:

The Stoiky is part of a long-range voyage by the Baltic Fleet, which previously visited Oman in 2021 and 2022. While the 2026 visit was not a formal port call, the ship's presence near Oman’s coast underscores ongoing Russian naval engagement in the region.

I am following the story closely.  Of concern - are we thoroughly aware of Iran's capabilities?  The president states Tehran cannot be bullied.
