America's Symphony
Musical Selection: Flight of the Bumblebee by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov
The reign of verbal terror from a mouthy and practically unemployable attorney is over. Jasmine Crockett is schooled on the power of the vote.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett is predictable in her primary loss to opponent James Talarico. The Republicans cheated! Zzzz And in a district which has a forty percent black American demographic, and an overall eighty percent majority-minority ratio, she lost her pride of place to a fresh-faced Caucasian male. This man is certainly capable of causing more damage to Republican aspirations in Texas should he win the general election in November. But there is such a tangible distaste for Ms. Crockett and her grandstanding, that a cup of cheer is raised across the state.

The voters have spoken.
Musical Selection: The Battle Hymn of the Republic by Julia Ward Howard
We await the run-off election between Senator John Cornyn and Attorney General Ken Paxton. One is an aging statesman. The other a womanizing political shark. In this "buckle" of the Bible Belt, we don't mind the shark, but the Baptists are more hesitant to vote for the skirt-chaser. But it is possible because our AG Paxton has been in lock-step with our Texas governor regarding shutting down the Muslim colonization project known as EPIC (East Plano Islamic Center) he might surge forward in the run-off.

The voters have spoken. The will speak again.
Musical Selection: Moonlight Sonata by Ludwig Van Beethoven
The story is moody, foreboding... and really, it is absolutely tragic. Rep. Tony Gonzales abandoned his marital vows to do a bit of digital stalking of a staffer who was probably quite naive regarding consequences related to sleeping with a powerful man. (That is why I always quip, "Sleep with a janitor. He will be grateful.) With a world of regret, she spiraled into madness and set herself aflame - leaving behind a husband and a child. The aforementioned Congressional asshole is in a run-off with Brandon Herrera - a rather handsome guns rights activist. It should have been a foregone conclusion that the man with a broken zipper would meet his deserved fate. But because each vote counts - Rep. Tony Gonzales faces a run-off.
The "Sheeple" vote. Unfortunately, sometimes we get the government we deserve. But other times, we manage to get it right. This is the one that we need to get right, for the sake of a woman. Brandon Herrera has a cool site and a very cool video. A bit long, but showcasing America's best.

Our elections are peaceful and transition of power occurs in seamless manner. Every election has a cadence on the local, state, and federal level. But each cadence is accompanied by a composition made up of the notes on the page which represent the individual voter, and the chords which represent groundswells of support. The underlying mood can be frenetic, hopeful, or one filled with despair. But when I go to the polls I do not see it so much as a Constitutional right. It is so much more. It is a beautiful symphony which is faithfully offered to each new generation of voters. Do you hear the sound of freedom? It is a symphony. A powerful lyric.
America, America! God Shed His Grace on Thee!
