How not to Run a War

1)  Do not secure a vital choke point prior to engaging Iran.

2)  On the first day depend on corrupted intelligence which causes the death of 165 little girls and ten

      instructors.

3) Take on a seasoned and mature state with only one additional rock (Israel)  for the slingshot.

4)  Assure your allies that they will be protected. And then watch them as they are torched.

5)  Do not take into consideration that your opponent might engage a new form of asymmetrical warfare

by erasing red lines.  We miscalculated regarding a ceiling of engagement. It does not exist.

Iran is now targeting oil export stations on the Red Sea which effectively denies Saudi Arabia a critical bypass mechanism for the Strait of Hormuz.  The attack on Yanbu  has created a new deterrence equation for which we may lack the algorithm.

6) Fail  to grasp that Iran is capable of quickly and efficiently escalating their own operational tempo

and that an initial "Epic Fury" does not count for "Mission Accomplished " a la' George W. Bush.

Haifa lost electrical power less than twelve hours ago in a complex attack.  We probably do not want to contemplate that in addition to Haifa being known for refining and storage capabilities, Haifa also stores ammonium and other toxic chemicals.  And since the area provides fuel to armored units and the Air Force - this proves a distinct vulnerability if they suffer under continued attack.

7)  We did not correctly measure the weight and the underbelly of Tehran's own missile program. It is a mammoth wild boar.   We relied on a three-toed sloth to do the computing.   Tehran has now targeted some of the palaces of the Saudi' royal family and they have an extensive targeting model based on their capabilities.  They are not done with us yet.

 8)  We lacked a grasp of Tehran's advanced air defenses. I saw the video of the targeting of our F-35.

It might get worse as we try to ride the bullish Iranian state.

9)  Scold your allies and NATO in public manner.  Why would Western Europe even consider taking up

this battle?  They have more to lose regarding terror cell activity.  Germany probably remains

      pissed off regarding Hamburg.

10) Embark on a major conflagration after resolving seven "pawn wars".  Take on the Bishops!

Yeah, Baby!  Attack the Grand Ayatollah and the Shi'a.  And do it without understanding that

      they do not blink.

11)  When your ass is handed to you on a plate, change the language.  Call it an excursion; you know,

        a short pleasure trip.

And finally, in the category of, "Well, I'll be damned!"

Iran Collects the First "Children's Tea Money" for Passage Through the Strait of Hormuz Iran's Secure Corridor in the Strait of Hormuz: Fee Collection in Exchange for Passage Has Been Activated and Will Soon Become Official with Parliamentary Approval. Reports from international media indicate that Iran, amid the U.S. and Israeli aggression, has established a secure maritime corridor in its territorial waters in the Strait of Hormuz. This corridor, administered under the supervision of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGC), provides safe passage to ships that complete verification and registration processes and, in some cases, pay a fee. According to a report by the Lloyd's List platform, citing multiple informed sources familiar with these transits, at least one tanker operator has paid Iran approximately $2 million for its vessel to pass through the strait. In addition, several other oil tankers have successfully transited after completing verification processes and diplomatic negotiations. The Lloyd's List news and analysis platform is one of the oldest and most reputable specialized media outlets in the world on the shipping industry, maritime transport, and global trade.
