President Trump
I just looked at the official White House site and skipped through a few of the thirty-eight pages in the gallery with images of... Trump... Trump... pa rum pum pum pum.
"A newborn king to see, pa rum pum pum pum."
Abroad, a doctrine of peace through strength has secured alliances, ended eight wars, and positioned America as an indispensable force for global stability. As these achievements compound, we have unmistakably entered a Golden Age of American greatness, promising even greater opportunity and security.
Actually, I am not fond of rum. But pass me two fingers of Brandy as we discuss the narrative above which is on the main page.
First of all, nobody should shoot the finger at Jack Reacher. That hulking man is going to toss you around like a puppy in front of the sons of the Republic. I am certainly whimpering at this point in time. We gave Iran the finger and they are offering back a clenched fist. It will remain clenched in spite of "good negotiations".

We imagined that "peace through strength" would be achieved by a juggernaut of an economy, an enviable and unassailable Department of State with stalwart/ policies which maintained balance of power through competing interests. Instead, America is staring into the abyss of a greater global instability which will have the most dire consequences across volatile societal rims in Africa and Asia, with ripples into Europe, Australia and Japan; whilst impacting our stable, domestic impoverished societal rims from rural south Texas to Alaska.
"As these achievements (of notoriety) compound", the feathers are being plucked off our Golden Eagle one-by-one and it reminds me that Benjamin Franklin suggested the turkey as our national emblem. Now while this is an urban legend, Mr. Franklin did pen a letter to his daughter suggesting the turkey should be placed on our national seal because the eagle steals food and has "bad moral character".
It is doubtful that in November, our turkey will be pardoned at the polls. The mid-terms might be the real shock-and-awe as Republicans are tossed about by the voters.
We are witnessing first-hand diminishing returns and greater domestic threats to our security. And as I sit here with a single portion of grapes which cost $2.66 at the grocer, each one that I pop into my mouth causes me to reflect on the grandiose imagination of our current POTUS. I have always considered imagination a great asset when attached to journalism analytics, but not so great when crafting foreign policy.
May God continue to bless America - in spite of him - and of course, also in spite of us, because we believed the statement in the second paragraph. And may God continue to bless and keep our military safe as they work within chain of command and perform their duties.
The grapes are gone. But I am reminded that my gas tank is sitting at 3/4 tank full. And I am becoming compulsive about filling my tank every three days. What happened in Port Arthur, Texas yesterday will be reflected at the pumps today.
Pa, rum pum pum pum!
