And the Operative Phrase is, "History of Mental Ilness"
It is pathetically predictable now. If there is a stabbing attack against Jews, a priest with his throat slit, a teacher beheaded on the streets of Paris, or little girls stabbed to death during their dance class we will learn the suspect had a "history of mental illness" long before we learn it is a Muslim terrorist. The news below barely made a blip in the news cycle. And why was it such a quick dash across the internet? Why have I not seen several articles which address what happened in logical and cogent terms?
You know why. I do not need to lead you about by the nose. It is vitally important that individuals raised with a tradition of Enlightenment not be stirred to action and make reasonable demands of their cowardly Parliamentarians. It is vitally important that the rational man never consider what Prophet Muhammad spouted off about the Jews which made it into the Qur'an (after being downloaded in his brain by the Angel Jibril) and what made it into the Sunnah of the Prophet.
The suspect is a "British national", errr... from Somalia. And he was welcome to show up from the land of crazy shit and make it his mission to attack a couple of elderly Jewish men. I sometimes believe that the pathetic ones - are the English leaders - the feckless cowards who refuse to address the problem.

Personally, I support a ten year moratorium on issuance of visas or work permits which allow for Muslim migration to the West. And after a decade, if Christians and Jews are still being persecuted, chased about, and killed in Muslim-majority nations, add another ten years to the moratorium.
We bury the news. Nobody wants to read about the Christian couple who had their legs broken, were dragged about by a tractor, and then thrown into a brick kiln in Pakistan.

And then you have this asshole, wishing away the killing of entire families of Christians in Syria and reducing it to a "broader internal security problem". He should be dropped into a Syrian mosque wearing a giant Crucifix and singing the praises of Jesus. I will start the betting pool at ten dollars....

Don't get me started on the persecution of Christians in the Sudan. It is intense and unrelenting, in spite of happy images popping up of various government officials visiting churches for photo opportunities. Three miles down the road some hapless Christian was just chopped into pieces with a machete.

Here is the question. In the presence of a vibrant-yet-gentle modern Christianity, do Muslims begin to question their own faith? And do they develop mental illness if asked to consider for even one small moment, "Gosh! What if I got it all wrong?"
On U.S. soil, I have been violently verbally attacked for my Christian faith by one hot-headed Muslim male from the Sudan. I allowed his combativeness, to plumb the depth of his hatred against me. Not one time, did I attack his faith. But I did explain to him that he lived in America now. And it was his duty to adapt and adjust to Western culture, and be kind to those who did not share his beliefs.
Some Muslims do adapt. But there are the others who try to penetrate our schools and institutions with the teachings of Islam. These individuals are not your friends. They are your enemies. They are just less identifiable, but they are bent on destroying Western humanism.
There are the others, easily identified but miscast as having missed out on taking their psychiatric medications: the ones who take their intense hatred against Jews and Christians and pick up that knife or weapon, load up their pressure cookers with projectiles, and go on their hateful killing sprees. I have had enough. Let's call it out for what it is; and that thing is Islamic-inspired intense hatred against the host nation and her People. But please, first call it hatred. And secondarily, feel free to be the fool who chooses the pathetic course of action and calls it "mental illness".
Let's discuss this. Keep discussing this. Not make allowances for this. Not cover it up. Let's address it head on.
This image from the Boston City bombing was celebrated when it made an appearance on an Al Qaeda Forum.
Say the words: Islam-inspired hatred. This is the root cause.
