Iran's Emotional Pulse
As a journalist, along with sorting through disinformation, misinformation and bias, I am always interested in what I call the "emotional pulse" for each story. Here is one example:
"Statement of the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council on the latest developments in the negotiations to end the Third Impose War
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The brave nation of Iran;
As the previous statement of the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council brought to the attention of the noble nation of Iran, after the defeat of the enemies attacking our dear Iran on the military battlefield, with the historic and unparalleled resistance of the people and armed forces of our country, on the tenth day of the war, the Americans began sending messages and requests for a ceasefire and negotiations to end the war that they themselves had started; On the fortieth day of the war and with the official announcement of the US President accepting Iran's 10-point plan as the framework for negotiations to end the war, the Islamic Republic of Iran accepted these negotiations in Islamabad with the mediation of the friendly and brotherly country of Pakistan.
These negotiations lasted 21 hours without interruption, and the Iranian delegation raised and pursued the demands of the Iranian people with seriousness and initiative at the height of distrust in the United States.
Despite having agreed to act within the framework of Iran’s 10-point plan before the negotiations began, the enemy raised new and ambitious demands during the negotiations, which were met with the Iranian delegation’s firm stance, and it was realized that the Islamic Republic of Iran, backed by the strength of its fighters in the field and the zeal, protection, and vigilance of the people present on the scene, would not compromise its positions in any way; for this reason, this phase of the negotiations ended without a clear result, and its continuation was postponed until another time when the enemy stops being ambitious and amends its demands in accordance with the realities of the field in front of a victorious and proud Iran.
In recent days, with the presence of the Pakistani army commander in Tehran as a mediator and intermediary in the negotiations, new proposals have been raised by the Americans, which the Islamic Republic of Iran is considering and has not yet responded to.
Here, we announce to our great nation, the warriors in the field, and the brave and courageous people present in the squares and streets in the cities and villages of the country that the Iranian negotiating team, which has entered the political battlefield with trust in God Almighty and with the support of the people, the steely determination and will, and the power of the warriors' firearms, to consolidate the remarkable and historic victories of the Iranian nation in this unjustly imposed war, will not compromise, retreat, or tolerate anything, and will defend with all its might the interests and concerns of the Iranian nation and the protection of the dear and precious blood that was shed in this war to preserve the independence, honor, and pride of Iran, especially the pure blood of the leader dearer than our lives.
One of the essential preconditions for Iran's acceptance of the temporary ceasefire was the cessation of fire on all fronts, including Lebanon, which the Zionist enemy violated from the very beginning with brutal attacks on the country of Lebanon and the heroic Hezbollah.
With the pressure of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Zionist regime agreed to a ceasefire in Lebanon and it was decided that if the enemy observes the ceasefire on all fronts, the Strait of Hormuz would be temporarily and conditionally opened until the end of the ceasefire period, only for the passage of commercial ships and not military vessels, and civilian vessels of the warring countries, with the control and permission of the Iranian armed forces and through the route determined by Iran.
Given that the majority of the equipment of the US military bases in the Persian Gulf region is provided through the passage and navigation of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz, and this is a threat to the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Persian Gulf region. Iran is determined to exercise supervision and control over traffic through the Strait of Hormuz until the war is definitively ended and a lasting peace is achieved in the region.
This will be implemented by receiving complete information from passing vessels, issuing a certificate of passage in accordance with the announced regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran, commensurate with war conditions, and paying the costs related to security, safety, and environmental protection services and on the routes announced by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Also, as long as the enemy intends to disrupt the passage of vessels and apply methods such as a naval blockade, the Islamic Republic of Iran will consider it a violation of the ceasefire and will prevent the conditional and limited opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
Recalling the recommendations of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council emphasizes that in order to fully consolidate the achievements in the military field and success in the diplomatic field, it is necessary for the Iranian people to continue to be present in the squares and streets, maintain full vigilance on the fronts, and take care of national cohesion by officials, media, and political and social activists."
And as "they" watch us and "we" watch them, there is a bit of interesting analysis:
Operational assessments indicate that the military positioning pattern, the increasing frequency of equipment transfers, the imposition of radio silence, and the execution of special maneuvers, alongside extensive intelligence-gathering operations and operational coordination with Israel, may reflect the likelihood of U.S. preparations for a military operation before the end of the two-week extended truce. Some Arab countries are encouraging Washington to proceed toward escalation. In return, Iran exploited the ceasefire period to devise operational plans that could change the rules of the game, and it is in a state of readiness for confrontation. It is also likely that some international powers will engage more directly in any potential escalation. The Quad Alliance (Washington, Tel Aviv, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi) is preparing to open a new front against the "Sana'a state."
Iran continues to peddle the story that our sailors aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln are practically starving to death. I greatly doubt it. Our ship replenishment operations are probably doing just fine. Now if they dock in Ghana, West Africa in the future - they might enjoy peanut soup and baboon steaks. That is what we were offered in one of the villages where I served. smile
The United States Navy is dealing with this nonsense:

God Bless our Sailors, and may God bless our Commander-in-Chief.
