Star Wars: Live Blogging for 20 April

I am watching (undated) footage of aerial combat worthy of Star Wars  and scenes like the two below.  Also watched video of our forces aboard the Iranian-flagged cargo ship. The crew members detained are Africans.   There will be a lot to cover today if Iran goes "hot". So this will be a live blog today. I will timestamp each micro-post as the day continues.  I prefer X sites with minimal digital traces and followers.  These images have a mere 39 views.

Do not get sucked into AI-generated images to form your opinions.

Pakistan just announced they have brought to a skidding halt a 1.5 billion dollar aircraft and arms sell to the Sudanese Armed Forces with arm-twisting by Saudi Arabia.  If you have couple of active neurons in your brain with a decent synapse you are fully aware that Sudan functions as a powerful locus of control for Russia, China, and Iran.  The real estate is desirable for its immense geographic potential, ease with which leadership can be manipulated, and strategic considerations.

In what appears as bifurcated messaging, the IRGC claims it is targeting one of our aircraft carriers even as a private aircraft with senior U.S. officials landed at Nur Khan Airbase outside Islamabad a few hours ago.  Perhaps there is a coordinated and calculated disinformation campaign coming from both sides of the table.

Years ago, a Jordanian attorney trained in Damascus walked me through the nuclear aspects of Qur'anic code.  You will find a post on the topic from a couple of months ago. Beware of the birds with the clods of dirt in their claws....  But as far as this document, hand-written over a cup of coffee, I haven't the least clue.  My Arabic is as great as my grasp of Sanskrit.   The word Zarra was explained when the man pulled a hair out of his head and placed it in my hand.  "Zarra.  The smallest part of the hair follicle. " The English transliteration of a few phrases is my handwriting.

An Iranian ship traveled through the Strait of Hormuz today.

The ship departed from Shahid Rajaee Port near Bandar Abbas and is continuing to Kandla Port in India.

With the apparent gridlock - it seems everybody is taking swipes at everybody else.  But in case you missed the news:  North Korea completed tests on an "unmanned nuclear submarine" with a 97 percent success rate.  They claim it is a weapon of deterrence.  Now maybe this is a silly question.  But isn't this really just a nuclear-powered torpedo?

North Korea has also slapped back at the White House stating they are open to dialogue without any pre-conditions.  North Korea states that they have "no need of us".   I mean - do these guys look "needy"?

But never forget that these men returned Otto Warmbier to his parents as a barely living vegetable who underwent God knows what kind of inhumanity at the hands of North Korea.
