A War Reduced to Political Stunts
As the IRGC wishes everyone a good night's sleep - let me recap the news. Actually, they sent all of us their "best wishes" from Tehran tonight.
Well, lemme see. With very little effort, Iran managed to pull off a soft mission kill on "Operation Freedom". Not many ships were willing to risk escort under fire. The UAE certainly is not in the mood to be targeted again. So in less than three days after the announcement of "Operation Freedom", the mission has been scrapped. But we are now being told that Iran has decided to give up their enriched uranium. I will bet the life of my firstborn son that Iran will never agree to the aforementioned.
This is a war reduced to political stunts. And it seems clear that Iran is not about to give up anything and they certainly don't give a shit. Gleefully clapping them on the shoulder, is China. Why not? Iran is a pivotal node for China's Belt and Road Project. And to allow the U.S. dominance across the Persian Gulf places a garrote around the neck of China's ambitions. So naturally, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has scuttled off to Beijing today to meet with his counterpart.
But back to the topic of our negotiations with Iran:
Sensitive negotiations should be inscrutable to the general public. And hell - they should be inscrutable for anyone with less than a top secret clearance. If you don't have the rank, you don't have the right to know. It really is that simple.
Every single time President Trump shoots himself in the foot, Tehran responds with a drive-by shooting. We get more LEGO movies and images of Ghalibaf telling us to go screw ourselves. I have never... ever.. experienced such nonsense and it is embarrassing. Every day, the White House delivers more "party hat news". And then Iran takes away the party favors. I know the average public are gullible "Sheeple" - but I am becoming quite the goat.
Actually - this is what Ghalibaf said today:
"We must all recognize that we are engaged in one of IRAN’s greatest contemporary battles and achieving ultimate victory in this struggle will make IRAN an influential player in the international system Reaching this significant accomplishment comes with its challenges."
If nothing else - somebody needs to take away our POTUS access to "Truth Social".
