"Pay No Attention"

If I were seated in London writing this post there would be a knock at my door with the now degenerate and uncivilized Englishman hauling me off to jail.  But "pay no attention".  I am seated in the land of the free; free from the shackles and slavery of Islam:

Pay no attention:  

Certainly, pay no attention that a young adult Muslim female was forced out of my vehicle over a year ago and my world has been collapsed into silence since that time.

Pay no attention:  

To the brutal murder of two teen Muslim girls several miles from my home. The father disapproved of their normal transition into femininity and the accompanying hormonal changes which produce puppy love.

Pay no attention:  

To the Muslim girls in my city walking around minus their clitoris. (I know more than one.) Because it doesn't matter that they are now Americans. America is a place.  And in this place, primitive actions seek to overwhelm the host.  This procedure is being done on U.S. soil

Pay no attention:  

That a woman's voice count's for half of that of a man in a court of law.  Nor does a complaint of a gang rape by four men receive any attention.  There must be four witnesses.  So if one rapes and three watch, each taking their turn, the half-wit cannot be believed. (Rape is considered a form of fornication or adultery in Islam because the woman did something to deserve it.  Islam does not consider that an uncle, a father-in-law, or a brother can rape a woman. And Islamic domains prefer not to keep rape statistics. If they don't keep statistics, surely it cannot exist. Do your reading and research.)

Pay no attention:

That a widow is essentially incarcerated and under house arrest for 4 months and 10 days after her husband dies.  (Iddah)  This is really about childbearing.   Their god reveals what is in the womb at four months.  There will be no bastard children.

Pay no attention:

That a female virgin having her first sexual experience with a male virgin (involving fornication) is to be lashed 100 times and banished for a year.

That a woman found on the road and speaking to a non-relative male will receive twenty lashes in places like Afghanistan.  If she and the male are doing a bit of signaling to each other, she will receive ten lashes.  Certainly - there should be no clatter of high heels and no public square laughter heard coming from the vocal cords of a woman. (Read the risalah of the various Grand Ayatollah.  I have.)

Pay no attention:

"The blood money for a woman is half that of a man, concerning her life and limbs." 

And while there is compensation for a male with injuries - including his penis - there is no compensation that I can locate for a woman who suffers a breast injury.

Pay no attention:

When women forced into hijab are also required to be covered from head to toe if they use a public swimming pool.

* There is a logical and cogent reason for requiring the exposure of the limbs in a public swimming venue.  This assures that no individual with a raging communicable skin infection impacts other swimmers.  Being able to assess the limbs of the body is about epidemiology, and it must be approached as a public health issue.  We should enact ordinances against such behavior. Women who want to swim fully covered should fill their bathtubs with water and not burden the rest of us with  nonsense imposed by the males.

The great Greek philosophers took contemporary events and historical recollections and recorded in verse - their thoughts.  What most did not do, was cast a critical eye toward their material.  And yes, while we love the works of poets such as Homer, Solon and Xenophanes - we read for understanding and not necessarily veracity.  

Hecataeus of Militus was superior regarding his efforts. He began his "Geneologies" with this notation:

"Thus speaks Hecataeus of Miletus: what I write is as I believe it to be true; for the tales the Greeks tell are many and ridiculous in my opinion."

What I wrote above is true... taken from volumes of Islamic jurisprudence. And many are the tales  and ridiculous writings, in my opinion. 

America remains the last and best hope for Muslim women as we address their treatment, confront the tales that Islam seeks for them to believe, and offer them... liberty.  This gift is born on the wings of strident conversations regarding hijab, freedom from coercion by the male,  and what it means to embrace our generous allowances for women and little girls.

Can we do this for them?  And can we do it for the pain Islam has caused me  28 February 2025? I too, am a woman deeply affected by Islam's treatment of women.
