Qeshm Island Attack

The view from the island tonight:

The United States targeted Qeshm Island's administrative hub, shipbuilding complex and the Bahman Qeshmi pier.  

The Bandar Abbas Airbase has also been at the receiving end of an attack and there are injuries at all locations.

For their part - Iran engaged three U.S. destroyers tonight.  I just watched a video of the Iranian Navy launching a cruise missile at one of our destroyers.  I would not wish to be on the receiving end of that equation. Talk about fire from the dragon's mouth! Also viewed a video of Iran's missile stockpiles. They lie in wait within literal miles of tunnels.  I doubt we have an accurate assessment. 

Iranian hardliners claim they will issue a rebuttal to our media regarding their attacks on our vessels. The claim is that what they attained tonight - is in the category of a miracle. Personally, I think all of us are in need of a miracle at this moment in time. sigh

The bad guys are saying this:

"A friend messaged me saying that we didn't hit two American warships, but rather three American warships were targeted, and the events involved sustained strikes that even continued after the American attacks, and as usual, they fled like rats."

And messages like this are going out on Telegram Channels:

دوستان گرامی این مطالبی که اون دوست عزیز از درگیری امشب بین ایران و آمریکا بیان کرده، خودش یک اتفاق بسیار بزرگ محسوب می شود که حتی اگر نصف این مطالب را در نظر بگیریم باز ایران یک ضربه سنگین به آمریکایی ها زده است که گویا قرار بود امشب ما را غافلگیر کنند و حتی اگر موفق شده‌بودند عملیات نظامی خود را در سطح گسترده آغاز می‌کردند و درواقع مقدمات تصرفات سرزمینی آنها انجام می‌شد.
اجازه بدید تا جزئیات درگیری تمام عیار امشب توسط رسانه ها منتشر بشه بعدش خواهید دید ابعاد عملیات امشب چندین برابر بزرگتر نسبت به شکست عملیات زمینی آمریکایی ها در اصفهان بوده است.
فعلا همین بدونید که به صورت موثق عرض میکنم ایران امشب یک پیروزی بزرگ بدست آورده است.
ان شا الله رسانه ها فردا جزئیات بیشتری منتشر کنند تا بتونیم ابعاد مختلف آن را بیان کنیم.

برای سلامتی همه دلاور مردان شجاع نیروی دریایی سپاه و ارتش ایران بزرگ دعا کنید که به لطف خدا کاری در سطح معجزه انجام دادند.

Let the details of tonight's full-scale conflict be published by the media, and then you will see that the dimensions of tonight's operation were several times larger than the failure of the Americans' ground operations in Isfahan.

God willing, the media will publish more details tomorrow so that we can express its various dimensions.

Pray for the health of all the brave men of the IRGC Navy and the Great Iranian Army, who, by the grace of God, did something at the level of a miracle.

* As for this oath keeper, I pray for the health and safety of all our own sailors who are experiencing first hand, war on the water.  It is what they have trained for, but watching a missile fired toward your ship at night must be a special kind of hell.  Please remember that our combatants are both magnet and shield. They are willing to draw fire so that the rest of us can sleep peacefully at night. And they shield us from dangers of which we might be unaware.
