EU Migration Plan Tightens the Screws with "Solidarity"
* I support orderly, carefully considered, incremental and metric-oriented migration. What does this specific individual have to offer a nation regarding work ethic, skill set, and mutual benefit? And what is their willingness to sacrifice in no different manner than my own grandparents sacrificed for the privilege of being native born Americans? This is never about racism. It is about policies which protect and safeguard the hopes and dreams of the hosting nation's generational-native-born. Migration which impoverishes citizens and reduces them to second-class foreigners in their own streets remains disastrous policy.

There are the the usual tools, "Who... what... when... where... why now... and who benefits".
But when reading a narrative, an accurate report out, or seeking to skip my own small stone across the pond, I always look for "Emotional Pulse". The bandwidth of my E.Q. is quite wide, so it is important for me to measure the bandwidth of both friend and foe.
It is also important to examine adjective use in an article. Is there excessive usage? And in the manner in which it modifies the noun does it send a strong signal? Does it have sufficient hormonal current to course through the neck to swivel the head (wherein the cerebral cortex resides)? Does a particular adjective avert the gaze away from a heartfelt belief or conviction?
A good example is the word "abortion". Did Jane Roe have an abortion? Or did she have a "therapeutic abortion"? I believe she had an abortion. And did she kill the child who would have loved her the most in her declining years? My belief is conviction and not preference. No use of adjectives can sway me.
Speaking of old age - if there is a "festive party" planned, please avoid it. The invitation is for a geriatric population. Ya' know - where "festive" means going to a German restaurant in Fort Worth and doing the Chicken Dance while the accordion wheezes along. I have done it. Boring as hell.
Now if I am invited to a rabble-rousing, hard-drinking, we-will-smoke-dope party, is it possible for me to arrive early? And can I spend the night? wink
In the link provided at the top of the page there are 17 short paragraphs. The word "solidarity" is used nine times. Whether it is attached to the word mechanism, measure, or in remote linkage to the word pact there is a deliberate signal - an emotional pulse attached to the word.
Because of the usage of the word, I see it as a signal for coercive control. We are all in solidarity! What the Hell, is wrong with you, PM Viktor Orban? There is a reason the EU chose not to label this policy the "Take your Chances Migration Pact".
But I also find this statement very troubling:
"However, the EU's migration policy overhaul introduces faster deportations, safe country designations, and the idea of return hubs."
The policy overhaul exposes the nature of what remains a deeply flawed and draconian policy.
In other words, the EU cannot dump migrants on you fast enough. Discreet cough. But then Nation A - must spend months or years trying to repatriate the individuals who were never actually invited under the roof; even as these irrationally adored and worshiped migrants strip the wallets of your citizens to house, feed, clothe, educate and provide for their "dream".
And does anyone else hate the phrase "front line countries"? Was not their native soil their front line country? Words matter. Really, they do.
The most glaring problem, of course, is that a human being cannot be reduced to a numeric. It is not just No. 899 arriving in Germany, England or France. It is No. 899 who possesses a past history, a character which has not been tested, and a spirit which might show passionate enough to stab Henry Nowak with a dagger. A dagger - which while ceremonial - violated England's laws regarding legal carry of a knife. Had this man obeyed the laws of his host nation, the outcome might have been different.
Maybe Vickrum Digwa was No. 899. And maybe he was part of the EU "Solidarity" coercive control.
Other tasks await me. So enough for today.
