I have received invitations to visit Pakistan, Sudan and Afghanistan in the past.  An invitation to live in Egypt.  As a journalist I was offered an opportunity to  debate Yvonne Ridley. And later, what came off as a veiled threat to debate a known terrorist.  Both offers were declined.

I firmly agree with SecState Marco Rubio.  The United States government is not a charity. We are also not a social worker.

Mohamed Elhassan He is powerful, made up of imperceptible layers.  He was only in his mid-teens when he first heeded the call to political action traveling to the Republic Palace of President Jafar Nimeiri seeking justice for his family.
