News You Might Have Missed

"The Dutch Ministry of Defense announced that it wants to phase out the use of Palantir equipment within the next two years.

Although the American company Palantir is used only in what the Dutch Ministry of Defense describes as "exceptional cases," the State Secretary has still informed parliament members that they want to replace it "as quickly as possible." A Dutch official stated that a "complete replacement" for the software of this data-collection giant, which is directly supported by the CIA (and of course Mossad), must be put in place within two years.   I recall that one of the areas where the Dutch Ministry of Defense had used Palantir's artificial intelligence was in NATO's communications sector to facilitate faster communication between weapons platforms from member countries.   Additionally, American data analysis technology has been employed by the Netherlands' Special Operations Command (NLD SOCOM), which oversees elite units such as the Commando Corps (KCT) and the Netherlands' Naval Special Forces (NLMARSOF).   Dutch officials believe that the deployment of NLD SOCOM is part of the broader infiltration of Palantir technology into Dutch government agencies, including the Dutch police, the National Coordinator for Security and Counterterrorism (NCTV), and the Public Prosecution Service."
