"O Romeo, Romeo, Wherefore Art Thou Romeo?"

In what "sound bites" along like a Shakespeare tragedy - my morning look at the news quickly devolved to take a look at this:

O Narrative, Narrative, Wherefore Art Thou Narrative?"

It is a narrative regarding an American "win".   Narratives are always directed against fools.  My father raised me to choose a better course of action for my life.

With "light wings" we took it to the "stony limits" of our military might.  And yet - Iran's nuclear assets will continue to "twinkle in their spheres until they return".

Our Montague family is still at war with the Capulet family.  And this rose by any other name, is simple Thlaspi arvense.  We are left with stink week - with its pungent garlicky turnip aroma.

Vice President J.D. Vance is not God.  (Numbers 23:19)  He has lied to the American public.  I find it an inconceivable action.

Vice President J.D. Vance is not God.  My God created the universe ex nihilo.  Read my lips.  We have nothing... nothing... fully assured coming out of Tehran. We cannot create from what does not exist.

Our American Vice President cannot call into being things which do not exist. (Romans 4:17)

And yes.  It pains me that a member of the Christian faith has lied to the taxpayers regarding a regrettable  outcome with Iran.  But then again - once entering the ranks as a politician;  forever a liar.

I firmly believe that the adult American public are capable of swallowing hard, if an inconvenient truth is presented. And then we take  truth and ponder it in our hearts.  We also have choices to make.  We can choose to forgive our POTUS and continue to pray for our Republic and our military troops.  This is what I have chosen to do.  And I pray a blessing on our President.  This is also right for me.  My scripture demands it.

But we can also make demands when our taxpayer funds continue to be used to grind down a nation which has found itself uniquely equipped to resist our demands.  This task belongs to our elected Congressional representatives.

Disappointed, J.D.  We are adults.  And to lie to us is to reduce us to children.
