Short Note:  The Intensity of Hatred


I was taking a look at the art work of a particular artist based in Tehran.  This oil on canvas caught my eye.  The title is "Hoof and Throne".




But scrolling down on the X feed I saw this image from 11 May 2026:


It was accompanied by this note:

"Just as I burn, you burn too

Sew a shroud for your dear one

For you've slain our beloved."

1.3k "loved" it and there are 73 comments.

What a dark soul.

Mohamed Elhassan He is powerful, made up of imperceptible layers.  He was only in his mid-teens when he first heeded the call to political action traveling to the Republic Palace of President Jafar Nimeiri seeking justice for his family.
