Short Note Regarding President Trump's Health
There is an image floating around of our POTUS hand. The bruising is undoubtedly the result of a blood draw. My first thought was "Plavix", a commonly used blood thinner. But the article does take note the President is on a daily aspirin.

The ankle edema is common within the older population. And yes, peripheral vascular disease comes to mind.

Here is my basic question:
Why is the POTUS blood sample not drawn from an area other than his hand? He is the most scrutinized man on the planet. If he sneezes, it becomes news. This is a bit unfair.
As an R.N. I have performed lab collection of blood on any number of available veins. I also started intravenous fluids in veins in the feet when working Neuro I.C.U. Once, I started an I.V. using a vein in a finger when there was an emergency situation in the Recovery Room and the anesthesiologist had been unable to locate a vein on the arm or hand. In other words, there are usually many options available to the individual with an adequate skill set.
In the past, I served at Bethesda Naval Hospital, which now carries the name of Walter Reed. It is an excellent facility. Surely, Walter Reed can do better for our President, so that he does not receive undue scrutiny for what is a semi-annual physical.
My belief is that our American President is in fairly good health to be able to withstand the rigors of the office. He is certainly present, in the physical sense of the word; and significantly more so than Joe Biden who probably napped his way through the final two years of his term.
