In the last hour:

An air defense system near the Bushehr nuclear power plant is said to have been hit by the US.

Abu Musa Island has been targeted by US aircraft.

US aircraft have carried out an attack on Jask in southern Iran.

Anti-aircraft fire is being fired on in Isfahan.

US aircraft have again carried out attacks in areas of Bushehr, Sirik and Chabahar in southern Iran.

Among the targets hit were: Shahid Beheshti Port in Chabahar, the maritime police station and the maritime control tower, and energy transmission lines.

The US has targeted Iranian maritime traffic control, coastal defense and customs organizations, as well as the country's air defense systems.

The US has carried out at least 20 air strikes on southern Iran.

A US drone was shot down in southern Iran.

Iran is preparing for ballistic missile strikes.

At least 11 US tankers are aloft in the Persian Gulf.

The US attacks have ended and Iran is expected to respond in the coming hours.

There is chatter Tehran is preparing to strike Israel with ballistic missiles.
