Kharg Island:  The Video Game


It seems unnecessary.  Beyond graphically enriched. A complete fabrication. And it diminishes the very real sacrifices of our oath keepers.

While you were peacefully sleeping,  an explosion rocked the Muwaqqaf al Sultani base in the Hashemite Kingdom.  This was part of a broad initiative with missile launches from multiple sites against pre-determined targets.  This initiative affected three of our regional allies.  And rather than the Amazon Prime made-for-sheeple version offered by our POTUS - I prefer the grainy seven second video of a direct hit in Jordan.

Air operations were suspended in Saudi Arabia at the King AbdulAziz Airport in Jeddah. And Kuwait snuffed their oil well flares and began a blackout in anticipation of retaliation.

Now whilst our POTUS claims we heavily damaged Kharg Island, the IRGC does admit to an attack of Larak Island with deaths and injuries of both military and civilians.  They will seek their pound of flesh as we continue to deliver slices of salami - a bad doctrine of war.

Vessels continue to line up to enter the Strait of Hormuz like camel caravans.  Transportation by camel might be quicker at this point.  They can clock a top speed of 40 mph when racing in short bursts.  The Secretary of the International Maritime Organization gives a report of 400 ships and 6,000 sailors stranded along the Strait of Hormuz.

Meanwhile, Christopher Helali is the usual parrot. His remarks are making an appearance on one of the sites I  follow. The propensity for failed political candidates to morph into political pundits is equal to that of retired U.S. military officers presenting themselves as global conflict experts.  These individuals have minimal benefit for greater society, but it is a lucrative side hustle. Helali's political analysis is incredibly superficial, and apart from the bravado, almost child-like.  Pity, really. Can we just rid ourselves of his noise?  Ignore him.

Of course, I am a former LCDR in the USNR presenting myself as an expert. Hey wait a minute! But this is not a side hustle.  Coffee cup is empty now.  Back to the real life.
