Thank you, Governor Abbott!


Yes.  I wrote my governor about this issue.

And certainly not because of the voice of the one, but the voice of many Texans who believe in representative government, we have this response.  Our governor, represents the will of Texans.

A government of the People, by the People, and for the People.

"We the People" do not want Islam-as-government superimposed over our Constitution.

The issue was that Muslim travelers were washing their feet in the bathroom sinks - which should be fined for improper usage, and a public health issue.  You don't reward scofflaws.

The real issue, of course, is not the narrative, but the goal. That goal is for our Republic to become an Islamic state.  It is the story of the butcher and his helper, and it is the pepperoni principle.

The butcher had a helper who would steal a slice of pepperoni each day.  Just one slice. The butcher never noticed.

This is Islam:  Slice away one small freedom. Barely noticed.  Take another slice.  And another.  And - they keep coming after us.  Again and again.  They can't help themselves. They come here on a mission. That mission is to live in America .... and make it look like home.  Geography does not change mental fortress.  Not for many.

In Texas, we will not be the foreigner in the streets of our own cities - overwhelmed by Islamic law in the public square. Uneasy to walk about for fear of being confronted with Islam in lanes of commerce, our schools, the public square.

Choose freedom.  Because what we have is Divine.
