The Arrogant Entitlement of Rama Duwaji


Rama Duwaji was perfectly willing to endanger the lives of NYPD officers.  And I find it unforgivable.

The New York Police Department had this to say, but the slap back was not hard enough. 

"The NYPD does not send officers to work in countries with level four travel advisories for discretionary reasons not linked to investigative work," a department spokesperson insisted early Tuesday."  

First of all,  the F.B.I. takes the lead should any private citizen abroad be kidnapped or the victim of a terror event.  The NYPD does not have a platform, neither jurisdiction, nor authority to function as a security net for this (non) Department of State average individual.  Because if you merely have positional authority because of your husband, it does not afford you favors which are undeserved.

As for this foolish woman traveling to Syria, perhaps she has not received the bulletin.  Or maybe she has received the bulletin, and her travel is related to things other than visiting family.  Surely, her family could travel to Turkey, or a nation which retains a modicum of safety for their citizens.  But yes - Islam has a history of using female couriers for messages which are considered sensitive. (Qur'an 60:1 has a complex back story regarding a female courier.)  Why, exactly, is she traveling to Syria? This is solely a journalism question and cannot be construed as slander nor character defamation.

This woman who doodles and calls it art might also be unaware the Syrian embassy in Lebanon is being used as an extension for the long arm of lawlessness which scampers through Syria and reaches across her borders.  

Three days ago, retired BrigGen Adel Issa entered the Syrian embassy in Beirut for a legal transaction.  According to his driver, he never left the embassy.  He will possibly join the hundreds of additional Alawite military men in prison who spent their days hunting down ISIS and men like al-Julani.  Pay back is a bitch, isn't it?

Perhaps she is also unaware of how Russian assets platforms in Syria to cause chaos in Africa?  But then again, she doodles.

May she return safely, as would be my wish for all women traveling abroad.  And hopefully, in a few years, she will have located a purpose in life that not only suits her but which also benefits America.  I tire, of women such as Rama Duwaji.
