The Makkah Joint Defense Agreement
The ink is dry. But perhaps the inkwell is also dry.
It did not take Ansarullah long to respond. Last night they attacked ARAMCO in Jazan, and two additional sites belonging to Saudi Arabia using suicide drones.
The Saudi army mobilization sites in al-Mukha have also been attacked. The usual smoke plumes, and people scurrying about.

Political will is not the same thing as a military will to act. So we will have to see if what essentially is a deterrence agreement is robust or something which shatters as easily as a crystal goblet. It seems more theoretical that an attack on one is an attack on all. So while the messaging was good; the photo ops were great; and good will prevailed -regarding the art of war - actions count for everything. Words - for very little.
Iran states they will soon release (proof of life) images of Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei meeting with the Iranian president, Masoud Pezeshkian. If they make an appearance, I will post them - albeit the whole thing may be AI generated.
And finally: Satellite images of Jubail onshore gas plant afire. The blaze is stated to be equivalent to 125 megawatts (yesterday). I just looked up megawatt for fires and AI states that extreme fires can reach values of greater than 90 megawatts. So I cannot verify the narrative.
