The University of Canned Spam

Canned spam is a product with a lot of fat and enough salt to kill you.   DEI has given to us the gift of Spam.

How many parents are emptying their wallets into places like Jesus College (an unusual name, since Jesus never told a lie) -  to support a narrative of black scholarship which may be ten percent accurate and ninety percent Spam?   The lies continue among the academic community, even as the U of S  has  a can opener taken to their inferior product line.

We must never confuse logic and process with grotesque racism.  But there are grotesque aspects to a narrative which has been peddled to the detriment of academics.

'Whatever the results of any investigation, the university bears no little responsibility for the grotesque racism which this whole business has unleashed, and for the harm done both to the individual in the line of fire, to black academics as a group, and to the broader field of critical race studies.

This requires a criminal investigation, not a "may have got it badly wrong" investigation.

'An independent investigation must rigorously investigate how such an early-career appointment to a very senior and prestigious professorial chair was made, and what both the Faculty of Education and university management may have got very badly wrong.'

Raising concerns because University of Spam has run a scam against students is not racism.  It is prudence.  Courses taken under Jason Arday must have credits rescinded, students heavily reimbursed, and classes taken again.

"Sociology students supervised by Arday allegedly raised concerns about his conduct, only to be told they were being racist by administrators, according to critics of the university's handling of the affair."

All tenured professors and senior professors within academia tasked with educating the next generation should face immediate and continuous scrutiny regarding their careers and research/publications.

"And she said the university should 'pay attention to the consequences of putting young people of colour in highly visible places to carry the burden of representation before they are ready to withstand scrutiny'. "

Scrutiny cannot destroy facts, only expose lies.

Great and Unfortunate Things - should happen to Cambridge.  And lawsuits should be mounted against canned Spam.  Your child may leave a university... unemployable.

Corrupted pity and unnatural urges have no place in academia.  Only academic prowess counts.

It gets better and better, kiddies!

Locked in syndrome?  I worked neuro ICU with an adolescent with this syndrome who had suffered a stroke and brain stem injury.  He could only use his eyes to blink. He communicated with a "letter board" and it was a cumbersom process.  There is no cure.

It is wonderful he went to Jesus College.  Jesus - has undoubtedly done many miracles for him!

Yes,  there should be criminal charges against every person involved in elevating an idiot to professorship.   These fabled narratives are many in academic circles.
