The Women of Ceuta

If I am quoting from selections in my library, written by Islamic scholars, will I still receive the dog whistle of "Islamophobia" for bringing uncomfortable truths to light?

Let's take a moment, and digest a few things from my library - direct quotes - regarding the women of Islam.  Let me just go to the Sunni side of the house, regarding their codified jurisprudence.

Concubinage (sex slaves) in time of war (Rape of females):

"It is not permitted for any of them to have intercourse with a girl from amongst the captives until she has been allotted to him in his share, in which case he may have intercourse with her only after the istibra of one month."

"If he has made her pregnant, the child becomes his...."

Domestic abuse:

"The husband may hit his wife if she acts in a refractory way toward her husband; if she dies from his blow...."

Punishment for fornication:

"... as for proof, this is just that four just men bear witness as his having committed fornication, there being no woman among them, and they declare that they saw his penis entering the vagina...."

(I guess watching is the next best thing.)

The shackles placed on women re: being alone with a man:  Lashes as punishment.

"... if they are found together in a house and both clothed, then thirty; if found in the road and they are speaking with each other, then twenty; if discovered making signs to each other but without speaking, then ten...."

I have a sign for you crazy men:

Until men in Islam quit acting like such damn fools, not much will change.
