President Donald J Trump: Resilience


If there is one word which describes our current POTUS, it is resilience.  And this quality is what makes him not just an American President, but very much, an American.   It is our resilience which stirs our creativity, motivates our productivity, and continues to set  global standards for the many nations which are mired with substandard conditions and minimalist ambitions for their population. 

Our resilience is sustained and fortified by one thing.  And that one thing which is a constant, is our vast array of personal freedoms.  Because we are free, Americans are prone to pursue monumental risks in the pursuit of happiness.  Freedom is not a trigger for anarchy, but it is the firing pin for our ambitions. And our scopes are sighted down range even as we say to the other guy, "Hey!  Hold my beer while I try this shot!"  Each day, it is our propensity for freedom which drive our industries, innovations, and future aspirations. Freedom - makes us the risk-taking sons of bitches that take on the world.  

President Trump?  He is using the freedom afforded his office to do remarkable things for our Republic.  Beneath the constant noise of political dissent is an American who has the instincts to run the business of our nation because he has managed a vast business empire in the private sector.  He is not an ordinary Arkansas jerk who never outgrew his middle school sexual urges, nor is he is  a Yale University political nepo baby who plunged us into even deeper shit with the Wall Street bailout (otherwise known as the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008). He is unlike our first Black American President who actually did more to Balkanize and harm the black American communities than his predecessors, and he certainly did not enter office spending his days trying to locate fifty percent of his missing brain cells.

President Trump?  He has secured our borders and halted the nonsense which has been pursued since the days of Ronald Reagan.  In a massive push for repatriation of illegal aliens he is putting the world on notice. Take care of your own citizens or face down your own necessary revolutions. We are not your pressure valve. And we will not change your diapers. Clean up your own shit.

He celebrates saying, "Merry Christmas".  O.K.  Now before you hurl into the waste basket, consider that small phrase a commercial break for what force the President has exerted against the underbelly of decent society.

I am most appreciative the POTUS has driven the workers of iniquity back into their domain of darkness. Only pedophiles have a fascination with the genitalia of children. Can it be imagined this man would have allowed Barron to "transition" based on the pervert fascinations and manipulation of a pedophile?  We would now have Baroness Trump - a six foot seven inch White House "daughter".  Real fathers, protect their children.  And real men, believe in a Creator who is incapable of mistakes.

Greenland?  President Trump plays poker.  He offered up the stare; ya' know, the stare from his mugshot.  He didn't end up with a royal flush, but America now has a full house of options for our military footprint.

Military entanglement with Iran was a calculated risk.  Although I remain in the category of harboring reservations I can grudgingly admit that we have tested the boundaries and now we know what we are dealing with if there is a future need to engage more rigorously.

Domestic policy is sturdy because of the members of the Trump Cabinet who show capability running the quarterdeck of our ship of state.  And while I hope Secretary of State Marco Rubio makes a run for the presidency,  I would be equally satisfied with our Vice President or one particular member of our Cabinet assuming Oval Office executive privileges.  President Trump campaigned on a promise of using sharks to run the business of state.  One recognizes the other.

Law enforcement?  There is no stupid cop moment, such as the moment offered up by President Obama... who then reinforced his power and their continued humiliation by extending the offer of sharing a beer with them.  I have taught my sons, "Respect the police. Fear the police. They have the power of the badge."  The POTUS has restored honor for those who choose a career in law enforcement.  (Now if he could just do the same for nurses.... wink)

Foreign policy?  Dismantling of USAID is a bold move.  If your I.Q. is that of a low-grade (Farenheit) fever,  you caught the signal that we used the organization as a carrot-stick to achieve policy goals abroad at the expense of any real change in human condition.  We dealt with corrupt totalitarians, expecting nothing less; and it is damn sure a good time to expect more.

The day - and the grocery store - beckon me.  So enough for now.  But I believe that our very American President is representing well the interests of the American citizens.  His resiliency and our freedoms will continue to carry us into the future.
