Swofford Never Forgets
I have never managed to forgive what happened on 9/11.
Does that fact make me less the Christian, or does it merely confirm my humanity and need for redemption?
I just watched the film "World Trade Center". It is recommended each of you also take the time to view it and consider why I choose not to forgive what was hoisted on my nation on 9/11/2001.
Because if in the name of a God an atrocity is perpetrated, and the name of that God is invoked with the act, then that god has shown himself to be untrustworthy.
Neither can I forgive what was witnessed on that day: Muslims dancing in the streets across the Middle East, Muslims passing out sweets in Gaza, and Muslims rejoicing in the carnage.
Swofford Never Forgets.
