The Memory Box: Echoes of 9/11


Time is a valuable commodity.  The readership is asked to view the first hour of this excellent selection offered by  Peacock.  These are recordings which were done in the aftermath of 9/11 by individuals directly impacted by the event.  (After the first hour,  there are follow-up recordings from 2021.)

These two statements are significant and find place on my blog:

I would have never read Alexander Solzhenitsyn's "Gulag Archipelago" if he had been assassinated for his political thoughts at thirty-one years of age. The average age of the delegates at the 1787 Constitutional Convention was forty-two.  Benjamin Franklin was 81 years of age at this time.
