President Trump's United States of "Them"
Quantify and qualify.
The United States of "Them" is making a fortune. But it is not The United States of "We the People" - the average middle-class taxpayers - who are receiving inherent benefit from this current administration.

"Our country is making a fortune...."
Is the POTUS speaking of the fortune of BitCoin in the Trump men's trousers or the continued fortunes of Elon Musk as he beats up struggling Americans in Mississippi by offering to purchase their poor homes in their poorer neighborhoods so that he can build another Data Center? What if - these individuals just happen to live contently within the community with which they are familiar? Home is everything. But then again, Elon Musk lives is a house and not a home. He is a sperm donor and not a real father, scrapping along to feed his children and coming home to them every night to tuck them in bed.
Musk is just an arrogant son of a bitch. Why doesn't he build his next Data Center adjacent to his ex-partner's home? Allow his progeny to enjoy the buzz of the machinery 24/7? Who protects the people of America from men like Musk?

I can hardly wait to cast my own little toothpick of a vote soon... not soon enough. The only real hope is that the tabulated votes of many Republicans will not resound with a sotto voce, but it will sound more more like the growl of a junkyard dog.
Almost daily, a splashy TikTok enters my text space to remind me how much my elected representatives are doing on my behalf. And then, the fools have the audacity to ask for a donation. Today - I embarked on a survey which came in as a text. "Describe your representative in one word." Gosh! Only one word? Do they think I am functionally illiterate? I put "self-serving" and wanted to add "malignant narcissist" but a machine will duly record my responses.
One question was, "What will it take for you to donate $5 to a campaign? My response: Have the representative hand me ten dollars. At this point, I am thinking about selling a kidney - my husband's kidney. Because Team Trump is just an ordinary gallbladder offering up a bit too much bile. And my finances are suffering quite a bit and the pennies beginning to squeak like hungry mice.
The best villains will win and then the finger-pointing will begin.
See you at the polls.
