Details of the ongoing field situation in Yemen: The Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces announced the launch of a broad strategic operation named "Dawn of Yemen" to advance toward the capital Sana'a, amid fierce clashes and the ignition of navigation fronts in the Red Sea: - Intense strikes and air support: The spokesperson for the coalition forces announced the participation of 100 fighter jets in carrying out more than 300 airstrikes on Sana'a and the western coast where Houthi positions are located. - Saudi Al-Ikhbariya channel broadcast initial footage of the operation, while the Yemeni army spokesperson (Colonel Majed Al-Nuzaili) confirmed the regaining of control over the "Dhu Bab" district and airport west of Taiz and securing the Bab al-Mandab passages. - Despite the legitimacy's advance, Houthi "Ansar Allah" forces launched a swift counterattack that resulted in the fall of the city of "Al-Turba" and the completion of the siege on the city of "Taiz" (the country's third largest city) after cutting off the main road leading to the temporary capital Aden. - As of this moment.. No official comment has been issued by the "Ansar Allah" group to confirm or deny these developments.
